So about getting the demo. I got BF3 on PS3 and have the mass effect series on xbox. With BF3 online pass linked to my origin account that connects to my PSN and XBL gamertags, is it possible to play the demo early just on the xbox? Or am i just stuck playing the demo on PS3? which in my opinion would suck.

no *I* bought it for the demo, but the game itself i gave to my brother. but i wouldnt have even bought it in the first place if i had known this about the demo, I would've just let him buy it since hes the one who wanted it, i just wanted the online pass, and he wouldnt have given it to me if he bought it, and i think it said that there would be additional ways for some people to gain early access, just wanted to guarantee mine.
That's still ludicrous. I hope you know that. Even if you gave the game you bought to charity, you went from paying $60 for a game with a free demo, to paying $120 for a game and a free demo a littler earlier. Do you not see how foolish that is?

It does say that you wont be abble to upload your ME2 save so I would assume that demo wont have any tools to set past events. It will probably be as you would start a new game with no knowledge of the previous ones and everything will be set up by defoult.

That's a pretty extreme strawman argument that you have there.
Why are you so offended somebody might not want to buy the game? Why do you feel the need to be derogatory to somebody else on the forums? He has his opinion, that doesn't give you a right to name-call.
