Password reminder that asks you to answer your secret question. If I don't remember password, how am I suppose to remember an answer to the secret question? Always buggled me.
And what happens if you have to reinstall Outlook, and have to retype all the email passwords again? :D

Ohh I'm tricky :) I have all my passwords on a password protected FlashDrive :lol:

Well, that didn't cross my mind ^_^
And what if you lose password for FlashDrive? Or FlashDrive itself? B)
Just kidding, this will get us nowhere ;)

From www.masseffect.com, click the button in the upper right corner that says "Download Demo."

The link does not work right now (at least for EST) and just tells you to signup for a newletter to be told when it is released today.

I hate origin becouse when I start NFS I have to wait at least 2min. until the origin window pops up and asking me do you wish to login. Hell no, I don't want to log in, for me NFS is a single player game and always will be, if I want MP than I launch COD:MW3

I can't say I "hate" Origin or games (it's just software), I hate (and it's not pet peeves, but majos psychotic funking hatredsImage IPB) people who made decisions to do something you mentioned, so generally I agree with you. When I launch game I want to launch game, fast, without twelve pop-ups, with skippable (preferably - without any) intros, without "login/authentification" and puking attempts to acess those damn internets wasting several minutes every damn time it's starts (very annoying when game or platform crashes every so often (hello DA2! Long time no see). Game using more than 30 seconds to load the save or transfer areas? Sorry, I don't like. ME2, for example, doing it in 40 seconds. I can ignore first time load, if it takes rather long time (BF3, for example), but c'mon, compare BF3 physics, sounds and graphics with ME2. ME1, in comparison, loads instantly. With exception of those post-intros pre-menus. Image IPB Hell if I know how to name them. Plus, on my two main rigs - home PC and travel laptop I still cannot make Origin work offline. WTF is that I don't know. Plus it's localized, so to speak and since I really live my native language, it pains me to see that kind of localization. Give me English Origin, dammit!

Actually It's not a BETA it's the Demo which is a shorther version of the full game, which is already at the CD/DVD manufacturer so according to BW with the full game there wont be any delays :) I hope so :)

It's me and my boyfriend's anniversary tomorrow, is it worth staying up to get and play this demo if I have to be up in at least 9 hours?

I can think of a lot other things to do on an anniversary other than play games, well, maybe just one other thing. While I am an avid gamer I still feel that spending time with my wife beats playing a game, no matter how effing great the game is. IMHO

I'm spending time with him tomorrow. I just don't want to risk sleeping in tomorrow, so trying to figure out if I should stay up for the demo or not. If it's in the next 3 hours, I'll have no problems.

I completely agree with the fact that if you don't have an account on a specific social network, you lack habit and need to visit it. But still, if several people stated that there is new information coming out on Twitter every minute, why is it so hard to pay a visit? There is even a link to it on Mass Effect website.:P

If some people say there is newsfeed on NRA-ILA site, why not visit it then?
I tried to visit Twitter before, not on ME account. Ever been under water cannon jet? I have. Got very same feeling trying to understand WTF are all those people talking about? It's just really like a huge pack of birds twitting, screeching, shrieking, screaming, whatever, completely impossible to concentrate and find what you looking for. Well, you can, but it will take a lot of time. All I need in this case - date, time, timezone. That's all. Anything forcing me to visit another site, click on pop-up and perform any other action I see as redundant and/or useless - won't get any appreciation from me. Using your logicImage IPB - if ME3 comes with Origin but you see no reason to install Origin, why not install it? Of course, maybe if I'd stay there, I'd getting used to it. But what for? Many people dislike Origin here, and some of them are either going to ignore it.
I say again, I see no use, nor reason to use twitter, bleeter, facebook, buttwipe - whatever. Even if they are single source of information. Plus, 99,(9)% of sites these days are overloaded with graphics, sounds and all that. If I need to know hockey results, I don't visit NHL site - overloaded. I use some private site, without any banners, any pictures - just text. Easy to read even from cell-phone and dial-up. And yes, like Kaidan, I do have migraines from flashes, noises and overall overcrowdness.
Have no objections on Steam notes you posted.

Not yet. Not sure I'm in Europe, though. Given that Bioware attitude I feel like third world country. Image IPB

Than stay awake. But be ready to be disappointed. Just case. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised. Image IPB

One twitter visit will lower your IQ by 1.4 points. Do the math.

ME2 does it instantly as well. The only problem - it plays stupid shuttle-loading vids for like 30s afterwards. Replace these vids (google, don't have ME2 installed) with empty one - voila - instant loads.

I think he is talking about the main menu when you can select resume, new game, connect, etc... there is a little lag until it checks for Update/new DLC, for me it always the Genesis DLC which I didn't have becouse I played ME1.
