They love us:P But one thing they shouldve done is allow the guys that ordered the Collectors Edition on Pre-Order discounted prices or access to the dlc's (Do not mind paying little bit for it) that are exclusive to certain stores. Down here in South Africa we do not have access to those stores.

So much for a JANUARY demo like they said before, but at least there is a date now. I hate not knowing. The ''Early access" was pretty shady too. I was expecting to play the game early so I didn't have to wait as long, I don't care if it's singleplayer, multiplayer or whatever, i just wanted to shorten the wait and this doesn't. Well now ill have time for one more run through ME1 to mop up the last few achievements.

just woundering if its possible if BioWare could do the same thing Bungie did for the Halo Reach Beta/Demo. Put an extra option on the main menu of the previous installment (when connected online). Just somethiing similar to how Bungie approached it, the put the Halo Reach Beta/Demo in the main menu of Halo 3: ODST. This would make many people happy if BioWare could do the same. I'm sure that I am not alone when I say that buying a copy of Battlefield 3 is a waste when I don't even like or want  the game, and when I would just sell it as soon as the ME3 Demo ended.

January was only the time where they would tell you when the demo would be release. Look at this : for the early acces demo date announcement In January 2012.

They never said the demo would be in January.

How many times must we go over this?! The leaflet talks about an announcement in January, but they announced right here on the BSN that the demo would LAUNCH (v.tr. to introduce to the public or market) in January. So there was contradictory information, enough to cause confusion. I'm also willing to bet you get that leaflet with BF3, meaning that until you buy BF3 you won't know of your sudden reversal of fortune.

Picture this: A looks at the announcement on the BSN that the ME3 will launch in January and that BF3 owners will get early access to the multiplayer. A buys BF3. A discovers a leaflet that says the release date for the ME3 demo will be announced in January. A is screwed.

Only 3 days of "early" access? HA! I figured it'd be that way. Oh well, I'll take it. At least I got a code from a friend that traded in the game so I didnt have to buy a game XD Nice to know that I wont be needing the actual disc of BF3 to get access.

I love the fact that the demo is on Valentines day. "I love you! *runs off to play ME3 demo*"
This is going to be a great day for me and best guy friend. We LOVE mass effect.

Hey guys I wanted to remind people to check their registered content under their profile to make sure if you played KoA demo that you have both the Knight armor and the chakram launcher as they are separate pieces of content.

the Knight armor you get by starting the demo an the Launcher by to the timed part and letting the timer run down.

thought I'd post this here since most people moved here

This is quite true. I know that a simple demo really has the power of persuasion. Most ppl who are wary of purchasing a game always wait of a demo and they usually go preorder a collectors edition. Good news for PS3 owners though - they can preorder the CE at gamestop since its still open - for now. The 360 version was sold out.
So @ ps3 owners: GO GO GO! while u still can XP

I half expected the demo to be released before Kingdoms of Amalur though due to the cross promotion going on. KOA:R comes out on the 7th, so I expected it to be released on the 31st. Kinda weird that players of that game would have to play a demo and then have to import the freebies well after they've been playing the KOA:Reckoning for a week. Oh well. What's done is done.

Fortunately there is the one I couldn't help but ask. And even outline it as the most important for the demo single player part.

Will it be possible to transfer saves from the previous ME games in demo, or will it use only the default male/female Shepard options (Like Ashely/Kaiden in prologue etc)?

I'm moving at the end of February back to Canada and selling everything I own besides clothes and won't be able to afford any kind of technology back home for a while until I find another job. :/
