How the hell can I download the demo (PC)? When I click on "get it now" on the demo page, nothing happens. I end up on the same page.

Played coop multiplayer now.

The enemies were alot tougher and smarter than on the 2nd level of the demo.

Was kinda hard really. And it was really fun!

Played through with a femshep renegade soldier on the campaign too.

The graphics are little little better than ME2 but some textures look ugly. =(

I dont say it's an ugly game but the textures could need a work.

If the PC version have these ugly textures, i wonder how bad the xbox version looks like?

Do you have "Origin" installed?
I had no problems downloading it (here in Germany).

Xbox version looked great to me. No issues with textures, other than a few on some of the Cerberus armour plating.

That is in no way BioWare's fault. The publisher/EA is responsible for those things.

There was a delay of 30 seconds before anything happened. Downloading now.

I quite enjoyed it. I really like the fact that using one power doesnt make all your powers go down like ME2 did. That was my main complaint with ME2.

Yeah, in ME2 they are better (bigger, crisper), i hope that BW will fix it in the final game or we will have fix in the patch...

Edit:  ME3 demo files are dated 18 January 2012, so is older (about three weeks) than final
ME3 version (ME3 have gone gold on 12 February 2012...) So I hope that
BW fixes some technical problems. (like quiet audio, small fonts, blurry tex
etc.) :innocent:

I agree on the font size and I also found the cross-hair too small when i ran the game at 2560x1440, and the game ran well. I decided to lower the res to 1080p instead for readability, and to be able to see the cross-hair.

I just finished playing the ME3 demo.........................awesome!!!!!!! I don't know why there are so many haters but oh well their loss.

I am already getting anxious everytime I look at the calendar but now I think I am going to see if I can play through ME1 and ME2 to get ready for ME3.

i agree the mass effect 3 demo is good and i don't know why they hate it

All right. Started the demo. Graphics look ok, music is great, and my custom femShep looks better than ever. Watching the intro on youtube was sort of meh, but playing it myself - well the dialogue is still not that great, but the music makes up for a lot.

I wonder if the full game's intro will be different. It fails to bring the severity of the situation across.

I played through single player 2x so far - and am going to do a lot more.

I am pleased. Its a demo, so I know its not polished - I know its not going to be perfect.

I am greatly pleased with the action and game play. The graphics are stunning, and the engine seems to work like a champ. The enemy AI is very good, even for 'normal mode'. You HAVE to pay attention to enemy units, or you will die or lose squaddies. The ATLAS is a lot of fun, and requires teamwork. All in all, I am pleased with the game.

I am a bit irked about the normal walk speed of the characters. Is Shepard suddenly like 80 years old - because he is slow as molasses in January in Antarctica. Make his run/walk right. Doors should not take 10.37 days to open. A lot that has to do with an action game is the pace - and the pace blows since Shepard moves like he needs a Geritol infusion and a 6 pack of Monster Energy Assult. I like to think fast and move fast. As you replay the demo on another class the slowness just gets more and more aggravating.

Adept powers take a LONG time to recharge. As an Adept in Mass Effect 2, I could own the battlefield on normal difficulty without using my gun.. In ME3, Powers take about 3.5 Months to recharge in combat. Its more like an ME1 adept - which sucked so bad it was not even playable. I do not need the entire galaxy to be killed by the Reapers and suffer through 3 more extinction cycles before my powers recharge. This is more than slightly irksome - its a deal breaker. The Devs need to play an Adept and see how hard it sucks, or enlighten us as to how to make them play right. The class is not what it used to be. Its not even close. It borders on pathetic - why even have the class if we have to fight like a damn soldier with no adrenaline rush or weapons specializations? Get rid of the class or make it playable. I wish Christina Norman (or whatever her last name is now) was still here... I do not believe that she would have let this go on. Were it not for her early videos of each class, I would not even have tried an adept after having attempting to suffer through it in ME1. As far as I can tell, the class will be a royal challenge on insanity.

All in all I like the game, even if I will have to retire my adepts ( and I have about 10 or 15 of them with full paythroughs ).
