Ok folks finally got the demo working arround. It was nice to be able to know what to expect from the full game, anyway thing is I never had an omni blade in my game, could this occur due to the fact that I chose Adept as my class?
The adept has no omniblade. Every class now has a heavy melee attack. Adept and vanguard have some kind of biotic punch; engineer incinerates the enemy, soldier, infiltrator and sentinel use omniblade.
Anyways, played the demo 4 times now, since I had gamecrashing bugs in the first two runthroughs. Seriously Bioware, do away with that hotkey bug! And the new key bindings are still crap. (roll/cover/storm)
But at least I could get a closer look at the gameplay now. Adept plays great, and is definitely improved in comparison to ME2. At least for most part of the game. Husks stand no chance against warp bombing, but the atlas mech is a bit** when playing adept. ^^
Overall, there are lots of nice new features, including heavy melee; Enemies die faster, but deal more damage (and so does the player); Medipacks are finally useful due to non regenerating health. Also, the improved AI is really nice. Makes it way more challenging. Enemies actually caught me of guard several times by flanking me.
Just out of curiosity: Did anyone manage to take over the atlas mech? I smashed the window once, but when I killed the pilot, the mech exploded.

Bug or Feature? Or is it because Bioware doesn't want us to take over atlas mechs in the demo?
