Can I choose squadmates in the Single Player or Multiplayer demo?

In the Single Player demo you are on 2 preset missions, so you do not select your party members (this will be more clear when you play the demo). In Multiplayer, you do not play with party NPCs, you play with other real players.

Are the preselected party members the same for both male and female Shepard? Or will it have Kaidan for femSheps and Ashley for dudeSheps?

A question:

Will the PC demo (and full game I guess) include the .ini configuration files like ME2? ME2's default mouse sensitivity is very very high and has mouse smoothing and all kinds of acceleration. I was hoping that, if those options are not configurable in-game (which I don't expect them to be), will the .ini file (in ME2 it's called "coalesced.ini") be provided so that we may fix these things if needed?

I'm assuming they will be and we will be able to edit them but a confirmation, if possible, would be absolutely fantastic.

No, no data from the Multiplay or Sinle Player demo carries into the real game.

Chris. Has it been 100% confirmed/denied yet as to wether we can play the multiplayer offline with bots?

Or wether the multiplayer is going to have achivements?


Have all of the achivements for the first 2 games on 2 seperate consoles so far.   (One of them has internet access very, very rarely and the other only has it about 50% of the time.)   And as i've also never been a big fan of multiplayer games to begin with, I would still like to go for the full set and was wondering if that was still possible?

So can I test out insanity in the demo? And..gold difficulty(?) in the MP?

Or are both set to normal?

You mean the facial generator usually in the beginning of the game?  Yes, it's in there.

Will the demo have a new trailer attatched to it?  Nothing specific as for the content of course except one thing: is the color red prevelent in it?

IGN have a video which supposedly "Spoils" the Demo. Its mostly a description video with no new "videos", but it does at least confirm that the Demo is pretty much the leaked Beta (Earth & Surkesh) and that we get Liara & Garrus as the demo's fixed squadmates...
I'd rather watch the leaked Beta in all honesty!

Well you do know, that things from the demo we get, i bet will have being changed/fixed drastically from the beta leak, so that means alot of unfished locations/cutscenes/dialog speeches have being worked-around and will be alot more finished in the demo we get

I guess the spoilers to-be in the demo aren't exactly that bad when you think about how much bigger a scale ME3 is going to be compared to the measley demo. And also, may I say just how excited I am about being able to copy and paste the face-code of my custom FemShep into the demo. It's not exactly the same Shepard, but this is a cool feature.

Spoil me away, ME3! I need something to keep me from dying of anticipation. Literally.

The limit for demos imposed by Microsoft is 2GB, so while I'm sure it helps the people that don't know that, it's about as imprecise as telling me a bag of skittle will cost under ten dollars.

You may want to know that the demo will visit non-Microsoft controlled platforms as well

Um, so what? They aren't going to make 3 different demos with three different feature sets so each platform can be unique. As awesome as it sounds that's just a waste of resources.

Chances are good though that being a 2Gb demo would (hopefully) mean that it'd be pretty chunky with awesome for content.

Higher-resolution cutscenes for some platforms? More languages supported? It's not like it hasn't happened before. What I'm trying to oppose is the thought that pointing out the size of a demo is uninformative, nothing else.

We get this through origin too, what a nightmare. By the time you get the demo through them, it will be time for the full game release.
