Yeah, knew that about my OS, but there's no point upgrading to Vista 64bit since 7 is out, but OS tend to be rather pricey, so I'm holding out until I get a new computer next year.SKiLLYWiLLY2 wrote...
Most likely it won't be affected at all.
If you had around 1GB you could possibly experience long loading, severe fps drops while the level/map loads, and textures not being fully loaded right away.
I believe it depends on the game engine. Either way, at one point, I played ME2 with 1GB of ram and there was zero difference in performance compared to when i had 4GB.
Also, not sure if you're aware but your OS will list 3GB because it is most likely 32bit. If you get a 64bit OS, you can use all of your memory.

im confused whats the point of keeping the mp section locked until the 17th? its like your getting punished for not buying battlefield.
Actually it's the opposite. you're being rewarded for buying battlefield. if they were punishing us for not buying battlefield then the entire demo would be locked those three extra days. Plus they're announcing a way on the 7th to get into MP on the 14th without buying battlefield

on the other hand, I can't wait to play the online section of this demo. the sole reason for that is because I never play online, I hate it. So I'll play now while the game isn't out and then focus mainly on story when ME3 goes gold and is out

because i don't see why they would take that option of customization away, but i also wouldn't be surprised if they don't reveal such a highly debated topic before the actual game releases.

Mass Effect 3[/i] plunges you into an all-out galactic war to take Earth back from a nearly unstoppable foe - and how you fight that war is entirely up to you. Groundbreaking interactive storytelling drives the heart-pounding action in which each decision you make could have devastating and deadly consequences. You are Commander Shepard, the only one who can save Earth from annihilation. But you are not alone. At your side is a team of elite, battle-hardened soldiers ready for your command. Flank enemies with your squad or take them down lone wolf. Use cover or go in guns blazing. Unleash tactical assaults from a distance or go toe-to-toe with enemies using devastating melee assaults and the deadly omniblade. On March 6th, 2012 the war for Earth begins on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

I do understand people impatience, since every second counts toward the reapers invasion. We have no time left.
impaitence is one thing, making demands is another
I am impaitent
I am however not on here actively making demands.
Not saying specifc people are or aren't making demands
but BioWare is the council and "you don't get to make demands of the council"

Indeed. However, we are all specters, therefore, we are granted to do somethings regular people don't. ;P
