Why do you say that? I though mMost demo's are released at midnight?
The xbox demo is supposed to be released around midnight PST, which is just under 7 1/2 hours from now. At least, that's what Jarrett Lee said.
PC and PS3 are expected to be released later on.

There is a link on the Mass Effect 3 website to download the demo in the upper right corner. You might not have to download via Origin but it might require you to log into it after install for any unlocks. I am hoping that is the case so I don't have to waste time or bandwidth when I get home from work. I could just download at work and carry the demo home with an external storage device. That would be great. 2.5gb would take a while on my connection at home.
The link doesn't work right now but I'm sure it will as soon as they throw throw switch.
And yeah, I'm sure you could download via Origin as well. Probably went without saying on that one.
I'm hoping it will be available on the ME site too, purely because that way BW has control over when it gets released - if it's only available via Origin - then it will be up to the Origin team to release it and BW has little control over it - likewise I doubt they can tell sony/ms to release it at such&such a time - rather they can ask for it to be released on a specific day and then it's up to each marketplace to release it according to their own schedules.

If I downloaded/bought the demo/game in PC. Would I be able to avail of the bonuses in KoA: Reckoning? I have KoA: Reckoning in my PS3 - would I be able to avail of the bonuses in my PC copy of ME3 Demo/Game??
From reading the KoA pages, I get the impression that the unlocks are platform specific - so you would need 2 copies of each demo to get all the unlocks for both games.
Playing both on the PS3 will get you all the unlocks for the full version of KoA & playing both on the PC will get you the KoA demo unlocks for ME3 plus any ME3 demo unlocks for ME3 (if any exist as it hasn't been confirmed one way or another).

sorry if this has been answered atleast a dozen times already. what is the exact time the demo will be available for download on the EST? I will be at school most of the day and I am having my sister download it for me while I am out. I rather come home and play it right away rather than watch a download bar slowly ****** away my night.
It hasn't been stated as nobody knows - as stated a couple of posts above yours - the best guess so far is that the xbox demo will be released at midnight Bioware Time (I believe that's Mountain Time), and the other platforms will turn up sometime after that - but this is all speculation at this stage....I figure it will be available by early evening in my timezone - although it could arrive anytime from mid-morning onwards.

Quick question, do I need to install Origin just to play the demo? If so I'd like to go ahead and download it beforehand so I can... configure it properly.

Yes, Origin is required to download and play the PC demo. It will also be required to play the full game.
I knew about the game just didn't notice if it was needed for the demo too (blah). Guess I better get started. Thanks.

Really Bioware Midnight time is Mountain Time? That means I don't have to try and find a time zone chart online because I'm in Mountain TimeKargsure wrote...

You cannot import into the demo, so nobody really knows. (You can copy the unique face code into the demo's character creator, which is how some people are looking at their old Shepard in the demo.)RedBird56 wrote...
I don't know if this has been asked yet, but in the demo, and I guess the full game, if you import a costume Shepard, are you able to tweak it or is it like when you import from ME1 to ME2 you either take it or start all over? I'm sorry if this has been asked and or answered already.
I don't see why it wouldn't work the same as ME2, though, but I don't know if they've specifically said anything about it.
Microsoft is in Washington state, so all times related to Xbox updates are in PST.gearseffect wrote...

EA is in California, so all times related to PC/Origin updates are in PST.
Sony isn't even on the same planet, so who knows what clock they go by. ;-)
