So a British man in his mid fifties is playing a Hispanic man in his late twenties?
Vega's hispanic?
Vega is a spanish name. Quite an old one in fact and given his look combined with his name and the mulitcultural origins of the Mass Effect 1 cast (Anderson, Ashley Kaidan) I'd wager he's hispanic.
A brit in his mid 50s playing a dude with a hispanic last name in his 20s would not be the most outlandish thing in the Mass Effect series, or the most baffling thing bioware has done...jus' sayin'

True, just would be a pretty sizeable jump from the voice actor to the character model. It would be like Vin Diesel voicing Liara. Very stark contrasts between who he'd be playing. I will say If Vega has an English accent I'll definitely be caught off guard.

I doubt (hope) he won't, I just saying it wouldn't catch me off gaurd.
Sean Bean, I believe, voiced the sniper in Big Ben. The voice of that solider sounded a lot like him
Here's a link:
That's not Sean Bean, the voice is waaaaaay too husky.
Yeah, having just listened once again to some of his interviews I have to agree that it isn't as husky.
He is an actor and could probably put on a husky tone.
I'm not positive about this one either, since someone mentioned that they were sure that they recognized Nigel Fishnchip's voice as a different VA from the UK. But if you're saying the voice isn't "huskey" enough, compare these two vids: from the beginning when "Nigel" starts talking http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk1KlnZbRCU around 0:45
Sounds incredibly similar to me, even if it is a different VA. IMDB though: as it was said, anyone can edit that. If Sean Bean was in ME3, that would be an awfully big secret for them to keep.

To be completely fair...
They had a middle aged British man play an Italian guy, and a hispanic guy playing his also Italian brother. you can guess the movie yourself.
And that same middle aged British guy played the main character in "Who framed Roger Rabbit?"
One does not simply....... believe everything they hear on the internet.
The unnamed British soldier in Big Ben sounds a bit like him, if he tweaked his accent for the role,(which I hear actors sometimes do).
But!
Then again it could be just a wee little internet Troll editing IMBD. HOWS ABOUT WE ALL WAIT TILL BIOWARE TELL US, which is less than 47 days away.

He refers to his grandmother as his abuela and calls Shepard "Loco/a," so it's a fair guess.
