I can't speak for others,but I don't feel threatened. I have two FemShep playthroughs and I liked them. I just don't think her own trailer is necessary and could confuse new players. There are several games with this option,yet you only see one of them in ads - the default one,one used for all the marketing - Sheploo.There is nothing sexist about that. It's like demanding a black Shepard trailer,completely unnecessary.

Almost forgot about that one. They did promise us a FemShep promotional trailer. Personally, the right kind of marketing can really make me excited for a game. So yeah, I'd love to see that trailer coming any time soon. But in the end Mass Effect isn't just some game, so trailer or not, I'll probably enjoy playing it.

I personally am really looking forward to seeing this trailer. Not sure what took them so long, but it better be bad ass, Hale deserves it.

I can see where you are coming from,  and Ican see where the other's are coming from. But seriously I don't see how one-trailer is going to hurt things. But after so many years of the blatent disregard for female gamers; I can see why femshep has become somewhat of an icon.

I see the need. And I want that they deliver as they promised just like every other fan holds Bioware to their promises. Or do you think they should only keep their promises that you care about?

Indeed, not many people are actually thinking before they post at the moment. This thread has digressed into bickering caused by a few griefers appearing and stirring the pot by saying the trailer isnt important to them. Shock horror its not meant to cater for everyone. This is a thread where it is important to people and those not interested really shouldn't be in here.

I think he is just being sarcastic about how big a deal people make of this. "OMG I have to have my FemShep trailer,you promised BioWare,damn it you promised!!!"   It's just a trailer.

Why the hell go through all that trouble for nothing? Also Jennifer Hale deserves some attention for the job she has done. She is an amazing VA. Women deserve to know that their are more female characters in games now and that we are being given the option to play one. Most of the women have no idea due to the old sterotype that women don't play shooters and war games. Little girls have the right to see a strong female and not just some helpless sex object in games. Femshep is a female soldier and it is a good example for little girls that she too can join the army if she so desires or be a karate teacher, a police woman, or a fireman. Showing that a woman can be strong like femshep shows girls that women's only place isn't just in the kitchen. That sterotype is wearing out it's welcome real fast and the women in the kitchen jokes are just plan old and stupid. Times are changing and a new generation of kids are playing games including little girls. The statisics will change. More and more women are getting interested in video games because they are finding out that marketing is getting smart for once and realizing women want to play as well. That is the whole key word many people don't get!! It was promised!! People should keep their promise. I still have faith they will do it.

I've said it before. You don't care about it, fine. What are you doing in this thread then. Just discredit other people's opinion because it is not yours? To some of us it is important.
