This woman doesn't look like she's in her 60's. She looks like she's in her 40's.
Aung San Suu Kyi.
Back to topic. (I'm awful when it comes to staying on topic. Such hypocrisy from me)
Anyway, guys just chill. If there's a Female Shepard trailer brillant. If there isn't, couldn't care less. How about we read up on a real female who made a difference such as Aung San Suu Kyi rather than make a big deal over Bioware having not made a FemShep trailer.
Besides when the game comes out fans would have made their own trailers for Female Shepard. On the 7th March 2012 search Youtube for Female Shepard Mass Effect 3 trailers.

I know men who still crack those stupid jokes in their 20's.
I'm sure they're just fooling around and teasing you. I'd say: "man up" but since you're a woman I'll just say: just show them you're the bigger person and try not to care when they crack jokes like that. Or better, laugh with them and show them you understand that they're just fooling around, maybe replying with a joke about boys/men.Yuqi wrote...
The only thing worse then that, is being female and working in the gaming industry.
I'm a man working in the game industry (I'm a game designer/developer and environment artist/designer). I have plenty of female colleagues. None of them complain about working among us men. So really, what the hell is your problem?
It's been a few years since I was in the industry, so it's probably changed somewhat. Oh but when you throw a joke back at them, suddenly your a slu*t ect ect.
I don't have a problem, like I said Ican see both sides of the argument..

If a piece of arse (mind you, well-armoured arse in combat fatigues) can distract one from muzzle-velocity rounds aiming to split one's head, one should reevaluate one's life (or the lack of value for it).i was under the impression that women are not generally part of the front line infantry because it would distract the men from all those bullets whizzing overhead

It's probably rather about men doing something stupid around women in general. Which we all are probably guilty of.Random Jerkface wrote...

I personally like this femshep video because it shows the many faces of custom created femsheps. We didn't need a default shep, we ARE the default shepards. Bioware should have made something like that instead.
Not bad, I actually like they default they chose. She looks fierce and angry, like the commander should.
Does anyone else think that the new default FemShep looks a little...young? Just her facial features look more akin to someone who's 18-20 instead of 31![]()
20 ? hell i'm 20 and even i don't look like that, she looks like 13 after her first shark week

Re-Post: I think ultimately what it comes down to, aside from the thread title basically asking about where the FemShep trailer is, is that we haven't seen her at all like they talked about doing.Eshaye wrote...

David Silverman said at Pax 2011 when they unveiled Default FemShep that, "...you will see her appearing in various forms of screenshots, and the packaging of your Collector's Edition, and we even promised a trailer, so that's the one [RedShep] you'll see."
We've seen nothing. Not a single screenshot.

2. Name 1 of those duties that women are not allowed to preform in the army, because I don't know any. Also tell me why that is (because if that's true, there probably is a reason behind it).
Women can't be navy seals or army rangers, regardless of physical ability.
They don't get to be BECAUSE of physical ability.
Limitations of biology and body. It's just the way it is. Funny how people want to pretend the differences between a man and a woman don't exist.
Seals, Rangers and other spec ops are exceptionally demanding - even among the fittest of men, few qualify. Olympics demonstrate the differences quite nicely - and it war there is no reward for second place.
Not so. In Australia they have undertaken a process where within the next few years all roles will be open to both genders provided they can meet the physical demands of the role. This was done at the request of military, rather than political leadership.
It's been an complicated situation where different branches of the military have had different expectations of what women could, or should be allowed, to do and in situations where female staff have been seconded to other branches for periods they have been known to receive waivers to perform tasks that they were prevented from doing when they returned to their original service.
The absence of women from some roles in the military was never about whether or not they could meet the physical requirements of the position. If that had been the rationale then motivated women would have just been obliged to meet the same requirements of their male counterparts and undergo the same standards of training.
Also, I'd like to see some femshep trailers because I've always disliked maleshep's appearance and I do personally prefer the work of the female voice actor.

I'm just glad they gave her freckles, not enough badass redheads. Just hope the new engine supports that kind of detail her art has. I saw Shepard has some spots and a few extra lines on his face, and I appreciate the detail.
Hell yes!!! I'm not a red head but my mom was and so I've inherited the freckles and I love them.

It's one of the face textures you can pick, which happens to be the default one and the one most people use I think that's why you see them everywhere.

That is true I know several 32 year olds who look like their 18 years old, of course they are skinny - I know one who was err big boned during high school but after high school she lost a lot of weight and she looks like she could be a supermodel if wanted to be one
