It is still coming out, but we don't have an ETA as to when.

 David Silverman said it would come out pre-launch.  So, sometime between now and March 5th.

Although putting it out after the demo would kind of be a moot point.

Maybe FemShep is just far more awesome and can handle the stress better than her maleshep counterpart. Hence why he looks as if he's about to cry and she's still all fresh faced!

Well since the demo will have a character creator, then at least we'll get a glimpse of the new FemShep come Feb 14th.

I want Femshep to launch ME3. Sheploo has had his shot, we get a taste of Femshep in the demo, then POW! Trailer two weeks or so later.

Sigh, I'm not talking about saggy boobs or pensioner qualities, I'm talking about the differences between a 20 year old and a 30 year old. I would be totally fine with young Shepard if it was for the first game, but heck, everyone else in the game has aged a bit too, look at Ashley and yet Shepard looks freshly cut from the apron strings??            

I made a attempt a poor attempt at making Shepard older, but at least she looks like she's going to die from stress just like Male Shepard -

Ashley and Kaidan don't really look much older at all. Plus Shepard just been through the Lazarus project. I doubt that actually aged Shep in anyway. Shepard won't look that old but you would probably see a bit more of a stressed look from both shepards.  



This shepard doesn't really look that old nor really much like Male Shepard.

Thing is were not talking about femshep looking like a woman of the Mass Effect time frame.  Iconic femshep was created by every Mass Effect fan to the image they want in the current gaming generation.   The generation that still wants cute looking woman with some sex appeal.   Not a battle hardened woman covered in scars and looking like she needs a 2 year vacation.   That wont really sell the game having that plastered across posters in game stores.

The sliders in game create your own "cannon" shep that can adhere to the qualities you desire.   What Bioware have marketed is a femshep that appeals to the majority of gamers and their perspectives.    Whether its the wrong image is kind of irrelevant,  its still what is marketable.

Unfortunately the poster girls we were presented with do not have much grit to them. Not that I should talk much as my own Femshep is one of those young looking ones, I do like that even she has mouth lines and crinkly lines around her eyes when her face emotes.

Shepard is what 32 at this point? She died at 30 and was reconstructed as someone said a bit earlier, she would not have aged much and her new skin is highly tough and regenerative to boot. I'm 32 and if you look at my site I don't really look it, at least that's what I'm told. 30 year olds today can look in their twenties and people from the ME universe live longer and thus look younger for a long time.

Also I view the femshep we see in the wallpaper as a stylized version of her, I hope in the game and trailer she looks more 'real'.

And to end, want to see the trailer already!! I'd thought it would be out by now. It'd be nice to give it some time to make femshep known to the world. Hopefully it doesn't turn to be the trailer no one knows about because it came out a second before launch...

Shepard died when they were 29 and their body probably didn't age over the entire two years they were dead.

Bioware has pulled off sexy but tough women before, just look at Morrigan, she doesn't look like she's just turned 19, or even Miranda. I just think it's wierd that fshep looks younger than her and Ashley and the rest of the female cast. I'm sure plenty of people will still be romancing Ashley and Miranda and won't be turned off since they look like they're in their late twenties instead of teens.

Well there were six remember.  Some of them look much older and still look great.

 


Still the fact remains that the younger more attractive looking femshep won the contest rather then the maturer looking ones.  Its what the majority wanted and theres no way round that.   Your complaining that she looks too young,  but thats what people voted for and wanted in her.  

The Shepard you create in game is your solution.  I know iconic femshep isnt representative of my femshep.  In fact her appearance to me isnt that relavent.  She a strong character and can do incredable things regardless.
