Still, I did get kinda sick of all those sex scenes beteen Kahlee and Jiro. Sure, those scenes were really soft-core and not explicit at all, but after reading about Kahlee having sex with Jiro for the 38738438th time I did start to get sick and tired of it.

I think Drew Karpyshyn must have been a very lonely person when he wrote the Mass Effect novels. :innocent:

I never had a problem with Kahlee since she wasn't necessarily a Mary Sue but Drew definitely wanted people know that she was hot. She was 50 years old and she was hot. Also a Blonde. It was a little annoying but nothing to get worked up over to me.

Well I actually like both Blonde and Redhead version of Femsheps that did win in the voting last September. But it seems the longer we wait the more it seems that all we did was vote for a new default Femshep and the one they put on the CE Metal Case. This trailer seems to be a myth the longer we wait and dont get any date that it would release by. If it doesnt air tonight on GTTV than I dont think it ever will since they wont tell us when the trailer will come.

We want our trailer because it was promised to us. They made a big deal about making femshep. They went to the trouble of picking out her hairstyle and then the color. If anything Jenifer Hale deserves some attention for the last 2 games she has worked so hard on and she is an amazing VA. It's about time she should get credit as the voice and the face of femshep. Until just recently nobody really even knew who femshep VA was or even cared. Some women still don't even know their is a femshep. If anything it might pull more females toward the game. Also there is nothing like a hot, badass woman that can kick your ass. So why not? It's time to recognize that women also like video games. Some of us Women like to play shooters and war games. So why do we want it? Because we were promised it.

Really? I thought it was only mentioned a few times and only described once. At least she's not forever pining for Anderson like a real Mary Sue would... lol.

You don't have to read them all, you can just skim through, or just read the 1st link (which is the most interesting and obvious one)

And what do you make of celebrity couples like Demi Moore/Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Lopez/Casper Smart  and so on? Sure, the former couple broke off, but in both couples, they are 18 years apart. And they're not the only ones who are ages apart. And it's not just a celebrity thing.

So I don't see how Kahlee is absolutely unrealistic (let's not forget she's a powerful biotic that can use her own powers to enhance herself phyisically!), especially considering this game series takes place at least 130 years into the future.

i want a femshep trailer because i have never felt engaged with Sheploo, only with femshep. she would pique my interest in the game more than he would.

Well if this was Modern day I'd say the word your looking for is cougar not Mary Sue. 

Since its the 22nd century when people can live up to 150 years old on average then I'd say that isn't really unlikely.

Heh??? Kahlee is no biotic. She's a scientist with some military training.

No she isn't. Kahlee is NOT a biotic at all.


Also, biotics in Mass Effect do NOT have the ability to enhance themsleves physically to look younger.

Also, I'm not unfamiliar with the scientific studies that predict we will get older (while look younger) with each generation. But Mass Effect is a bet generous with their numbers. No way in hell humans can become 130 years old in the 22nd century. That's just totally not going to happen. A realistic guess would be that human in the 22nd century have an average lifespan of 80, maybe 90 years at most.

Actually there were advertisements on illium that talked about using biotics to touch up their scalps, but to what extent or how it works is anyone's guess.

Also humans in ME do live up to 150, at least according to the codex. Hell technology is to a point to where people can become entirely new organisms, grow wings, tails, able to ingest food they shouldn't normally be able to eat. Looking younger than you are is probably a popular and commonplace treatment to take.

some people age more gracefully then others. and some people look more youthful then their actual age for a very long time, while others look older. sometimes - its lifestyle. sometimes its genetics. sometimes its both.

Indeed, in fact its recommended to have children in your early twenties as the longer you wait the more likely it is for the child to have health problems when he is born.
