Are you sure you are correct? A woman who's 43 years old... who has a 20 years old daughter...??? ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY SURE ABOUT THAT?
Because if that's true, than that's totally messed up... like REALLY messed up...
Yes, because no one ever has a child at twenty-three....
OH MY GOD! OOOOOOOOOPS!
My apologies people. I take back everything I said in the comment that didymos quoted.
I clearly need some sleep....

Your femshep trailer is where it should be, in the kitchen getting all the other manshep's trailers beers.
+1
But, seriously, I want my trailer now. Jennifer Hale deserves it, dammit.

I hope that original post was sarcasm >_>
incidentaly, my mom had me when she was 21.
Not sarcasm, I just messed up with the numbers and somehow assumed that lady had her first child at the age of 13. Yeah, a super stupid mistake, I know. It's 2:22AM here right now and I obviously need some sleep.

Indeed, in fact its recommended to have children in your early twenties as the longer you wait the more likely it is for the child to have health problems when he is born.
Yeah I know. What you say is totally true.
Just to make it absolutely clear I'll say it again: I messed up in my original post. I somehow thought the woman had her first child at the age of 13, instead of 23. I messed up with the numbers. Super dumb. I guess I need some sleep (it's 2:26AM here right now).

Hell technology [in Mass Effect] is to a point to where people can become entirely new organisms, grow wings, tails, able to ingest food they shouldn't normally be able to eat.
Where the hell did you read that?

The Cerberus News.
While becoming "entirely new organisms" is a stretch, they can indeed augment themselves via plastic surgery and there's a drug that allows species to ingest food they normally can't - so humans can ingest turian food and vice-versa.

Hey, Luc0s, I also make mistakes. I confused Gillian with Kahlee. Everyone calls them both Mary Sues, and since I haven't read the novels (and I'm tired), I tend to mix them up sometimes. >_<
*high five* for both making mistakes and both being tired.
Lets just forget about it. This thread is about femShep after all, not about Kahlee, Gillian or the age of humans in Mass Effect. :innocent:

Fair enough.
I did remember reading something about human females being able to look like asari with plastic surgery and skin mods (Anderson said something about that in the novels). While at the same time, some asari try to look like human females with skin mods and wigs.

Do people forget, in the game humans can live up till 150, so it's alright if Shep looks young for 30
Yeah, this is true.
Shepard looks fine. Even the custom female Shepards who look like a 19 years old teenagers are fine.
The only person who kinda upsets me is Kahlee Sanders. I know we haven't seen her yet, but I can already tell she's a total Mary Sue. To make it worse, she's almost 50 years old (she's around Captain Anderson's age) yet she still looks like a 30 years old woman according to the books. Kahlee, being nearly 50 years old, even has a 23 years old boyfriend in one of the books.

Actually I got that from the codex, not the cerberus news. (Still an excellent source for tidbits of lore though)

Well that's where I read a bunch of it too, but much was originally from the News stuff.

I can't seem to find it, but the codex talked about how some things were legal, and how altering your stomach to eat (insert inedible chemical here) was not legal.
Can't remember where it was though.

"For example, using gene therapy to increase muscle mass is legal, but adding the ability to digest cellulose is not. "
Essentially genetics are so advanced that you could become anything, or hell anyone you want. (which shep points out a few times during ME2, like when talking to bailey) its just you don't usually see it because it is illegal, and thus probably pretty expensive too.

Aria also says to Shepard:
"You can't be too careful with dead spectres, that could be anyone wearing your face."

However, I'd like for things to be equal. Iconic Male Shepard looks like he's been through hell. You can argue that iconic female Shepard looks like that as well, maybe - but as much as Sheploo looks? Nope. Nearly as much.
This touches upon the greater issue of female characters not being "allowed" to have some flaws aesthetically. Meanwhile, you have male characters scarred and weathered or otherwise ugly as sin.

It's 2160-something. Why should Humans still look frail and weak at all when old? Plus, Shepard was augmented by Cerberus in ME2 with cybernetics and what not.Changonauta wrote...

Sheploo is physically more thirty than femshep
He is thirty-er
Sheploo is 43 years old in real-life. He was 37 when they created Mass Effect.
So I can understand when people say Sheploo looks older than 29 or 31 years old (even though I do think Mark Vanderloo looks really young for his age).
he has 43!!??, he really looks more young
I was actually talking about the real human who is Shepard's face: Mark Vanderloo. He is 43 years old, though he looks much younger.
Shepard in-game is 31 years old.
