I have a group of about 10, that all want to run through I lord of the ring module or down load a base for  pw, we have server, and people to up keep, but no one that builds well enough for NWN2,   I found a module, but cant open it due to a missing talk file. It is called  LOTR_RISE_OF_MIDDLE_EARTH .   Is there another one out there?  We have tried playing on the pw Rise of Sauron(but you have to do (x) for or to a dm to get access to elves, sorcs, rangers, humans with the extra feat and a bunch of other feats and classes)   if there is a mod out there for free or for sale"?  Please let me know.

RoS may be your only LOTR option for NWN2.

Usually when PWs put those kind of rules in place, it's for what seems like a good reason (to them at least). Not really sure what you mean by your statement;

...you have to do (x) for or to a dm to get access...

Seems a little dubious when you put it that way.

Do you have a link to the module you say you can't open? Perhaps with that someone will be able to point you in the right direction. If you are referring to this module, that's for NWN not NWN2, so you're SOL regardless (although it does seem others had that issue as well based on the comments section).

What I mean by "you have to x to get..." The elf class, human xtra feat, caster sorc you have to get dm approval, and does say a check list of things you have to do, perhaps donate? perhaps kiss ass? Perhaps be great rp er for a year or ,,,, that is the problem, there is no set thing, to play these class or race.

As far as which mod, it was the nwn1 mod even though it was listed as an nwn2 it seems. I can not find any lotr nwn2 mods available.

Yes, I have asked them and get a generic answer. I am not sure if you are trying to help or I assume that you are ...., well I guess I shouldnt assume, the whole "ass out of u and me" thing. I posted here to find a mod that is lotr based hoping to find a link or someone that knows of or has one.

At this point in the game's life, you're best off making your own. No ones just going to make one to give you, and there aren't any others out there.

As for attitude, there's a slow stream of people that just ask for stuff, with no concept of the time involved. The last person wanted someone to make him a custom setting world, full of all custom areas, built to his specs. He'd take the "creator", "head dev", "head builder", and "project lead" credits though.

If you want something, and there's nothing else out there that meets what you want, you're going to have to build it yourself.

My point is that I'd ask them directly before making guesses in another forum. I've only tried a few PWs, but when I've had some doubt I've asked either on their forums, or to the DMs privately.

If you're not sure about their generic answer, I don't know, ask again for something more concrete, or post what you've been told here.

I don't know about any LOTR module/PW, I would have told otherwise.

I dont expect some one to make or even give for free, back in the day, I think we paid like 500 for  pw, which imo, is a really good deal. so much work goes into them,  NWN2 is 100x harder then nwn1, (from what I read..)

So I do not think it exist in down loadable module form, if it does, they do not want to give it up, even for a price.

Like Kamal said, we modders typically make mods because we're interested in them, not because people asked for them. Then again if your offering up money you might get a few takers, though I still think your best bet is to build yourself.

If you have some one to DM there is a great collection of prefabs on the vault. A few hours of patch work and you could have a full size campaign. And there are plenty people here who could help if your having trouble. In fact for a basic pw you pretty much just need areas and encounters.

I'm actually working on a project that involves generating encounters and treasure and scaling it to player level. I could give you scripts and blueprints if you want to attempt the build.
