I seem to be the odd one out here, but for me I'm sure it's not been billed till shortly before it's been shipped......
Yeah that's why I asked, it's always been like this for me in the past...
Ahh nevermind, it's just been billed! YEAH!
Nevermind again, fyi it's basically appeared on my online bank statement but says pending...Good enough!

From what both of you and other people have said, my guess is that this one is shipping fairly soon then rather than a big advance pre-sale. Sorry if this is a stupid statement, but I've been focusing more on when I can buy it than when I'll receive it
I don't know how much this can be trusted, but forbiddenplanet say they are expecting them Feb 27th...

Beanie, I know, forbiddenplanet is £10 cheaper, but no way I was getting it from there without some concrete statement from someone at the bioware store that they are indeed the very same limited signed ones, with the number they've put up here, if they are selling them, there won't be many, and there are no limitations on how many you can put in your cart, so there's the fact that they could have sold out already and not updated it yet. But in short I won't trust the word of another shop when it comes to lithos, only the bioware one
An ebay sale already doesn't surprise me unfortunately, the price tag however, does, $1375, am I reading this right????

Quite, the order people bought them in and litho numbers don't always correlate, I'm guessing he knows that and is lying to justify the price tag, hoping someone gets it before he has to tell them the number.

Yeah now you know why I really really really really dislike ebayers and why doing two per customer is a bad idea and aids them. I get the point about collectors, but I think fans should always be put first.
I'm not sure I see where 2/person is any better for collectors. As long as you preserve them properly, you can still display them as a collector and be proud. If you leave them in the plastic wrap they are in, that plastic is acidic and will eventually harm the lithograph. Having a second to sit in the plastic is a waste. Saying "my backup" is a bit disturbing (so....you have problems with pyromaniacs and people using your picture frames as pinatas?) and in actuality, you will only need to replace a litho if the unthinkable happens (the framer kills it) which insurance would cover a replacement in most cases.

Ok it wont sell for that, but its obscene that its been done and really hits the point home I think regardless

Nice to see someone who doesn't even know what they're selling. I guess this is why more than one per customer leaves a bad taste with the fans, though I guess the ebayers are unlikely to be interested in keeping them for themselves anyway.Jay_Hawk wrote...

Many of our known forum ebayers have stated several times that they are collectors themselves and are merely capitalizing on the misfortune of others. By keeping one and selling the extras, they insure that their collection is complete and that they will make a little bit of extra money on the side from it. I imagine though some would sell their own lithograph collection if they thought they could get enough money for it. The 2/person limit just makes it easier for them to do this, since they have no need of using multiple accounts to get what they want (more extras/time slot).vometia wrote...

I have deep concerns about Mass Effect 3 the game, but I think I may need to snap one of these up and keep my addiction going. I may be worried about the content of the game but that art looks lovely.

In short, a lovely looking team size litho from ME3, a somewhat messed up early release, a 2 per customer limit and an ebayer selling it at the price of a diamond necklace

While I have no plans to sell either copy on eBay (I think, if I didn't keep either one for myself as planned, I'd rather gift it to one of my friends who is really in to Mass Effect too) That guy's price is hilariously out of tune with reality. Hypothetically, If I ever listed, I'd just set a start price at what I paid at the store for it and if it bids up past that, well, so be it. At least then I'm not twisting anyone's arm; they're setting their own acceptable price that way.
But first, I'd have to sell it, and I just don't see that happening.
I've bought a few lithographs now on eBay because I missed out on them when they were first released (Grunt for $65, Legion for $95, Korlus for $40, Tali for $325) and as seen, I ate some high prices for two of them. I could justify those prices.. but some of these are nutty.
As a side note; someone asked about the guy who used to have the #3 lithos for insane prices. He never got what he wanted, I watch that guy on eBay for the fun of seeing what happens (I'm pretty active on eBay for book collecting and M:tG stuff); and his Tali print reduced as low as (IIRC) $900 and still never sold off as far as I can tell.
