I wanted to play a female Shepard but my own ME 1 save was male and I did not like the history of your character when starting a whole new Shepard so I used a save from this site: http://www.masseffectsaves.com
Wondering if anyone else has used this site and if there has been any issues with it? Currently, I have seen 3 bugs that may or may not have been caused by someone else's save file. First bug was when I opened up my quick menu, one of the weapon icons was replaced by a text "weapon texture not found!" but that got fixed when I escaped the station at the start of the game.
Second one is that the game sometimes crashes when I try to move powers on the hotbar.
Third bug (maybe it isn't a bug) is after your escape with Miranda and Jacob, Miranda does not appear on the station when you first talk to Illusive Man.
Safe to use other mass effect 1 saves?

That shouldn't be a save import issue, more a game issue on 1 and 3. Number 2 is a known issue that has no real answer other than don't move powers after you have used them in combat or even better after you have moved from your starting point of the level. Depending on how you bought the game, you may want to reinstall the game or if Steam verify game integrity, if bugs continue to crop up. So far I haven't heard of any issues with the website.
