i'm not a James Vega fan, i really don't care either way but I just wanna know why ppl hate him/dislike him so much?

Anyway, I just feel that with all ME2's squadmates that have been left out of Shepards team, having a new generic like soldier in the crew is not something I would want.

Personally, I wanted that British guy to be the soldier of the team. I mean his british, he was already introduced and most people seem to like him from the start which was something positive.

I have not really paid any attention at all to ME3 beyond the issue of Origin, but I am at least peripherally aware of James Vega and no, I wouldn't call myself a fan. I would say my issue with him is that 1) We already have a sizable number of beloved characters that have a history with Shepard (me) and some of those characters were certainly sacrificed in ME3 so that we might have Vega in their stead and 2) he seems SO vanilla based on what I've seen. Do we need another meat-head soldier-type in the shooting genre? Do we really?

i seen this from the clips that he supposed be someone in the court martial of Shepard or somehting not to sure the clips didnt go into details

Look at Sheploo in ME1/2. Though they did better in ME3. At least he looks like a soldier now, not like a model.

No, he doesn't. 

People here refer to him as being from Jersey Shore because he a) has muscles, and all people with muscles are just like The Situation and has a skin color that isn't lily-white and isn't black, so clearly it must be spray-on-tan orange.
