In my case, it's because of that short comic. Y'know, where he displays incredible lack of tact, impulse control and overall unwarranted homicidal behavior. And no, them being batarians does not make it OK.

He seems like a pretty cool guy judging by the leak though, so I'll just try and pretend that the comic never happened.

i don't hate Jacob either, i'm not a fan but, i actually liked Jacob, hope he re-joins the Alliance as well since it seems Shepard "made" Miranda and Jacob "quit" Cerberus

I'm happy to see more Latinos/Latinas in science fiction, regardless. I'm not of that particular ethnicity, myself, but I can spot its lack of representation pretty easily.

I'm still happy Edward James Olmos nabbed the role of William Adama in BSG. This is another good step.

If there is no Korgan on the team, then Vega is your bad badass with a gun. I am sure he will cool. I kind of think of him as a really big meat shield or portable cover. He is the guy you give the S.A.W. to or the 60 and let him work. He is more blunt force like Grunt.

well for me it was the loyalty quest that felt kind of meh for his kind of charachter.

i would have loved to see a mission regarding his alliance past or something with dealing with cerbrus

Not Jacob treatment, Jack treatment.  Do you remember all that garbage talk a few years back?  "Omg what a slu+, shes so ugly, shes going through the airlock, I'm skipping her recruitment, I'll never want her loyalty, too much skin showing, etc."

Jack is pretty cool and funny in ME2 if you follow her character throughout the entire game.  Idiots judge books by their covers.  Go ahead and let them.

I freaking can't wait to meet James Vega. People who don't like him already are absolutely ridiculous. Hating a character based on appearance alone is really dumb.

I just don't get why we get so many squadmembers in ME2 and even 2 DLC because the core were not enough for some reason and then we go back to the ME1 squad plus 2 new. That's what's annoying. I wanted to keep Jack, Grunt, Legion, etc. And I don't see why I wouldn't because they had no purpose other than sticking with Shepard.

its SAW actually and the US no longer uses the M60, we use the M240, the Army uses the Bravo version, Navy uses the Alpha, and the Marines use the Golf

Please at the very least give him a chance. I'm keeping an open mind. He could be the best character ever, or he could be the worst character ever, or most likely somewhere inbetween. I haven't made up mind and won't until I play Mass Effect 3:mellow:

He's probably the male-male romance option. That's taking bromance to a new level never seen before in Gears

I love all these poser-haters. If you really didn't like the direction of ME2 and ME3, then you shouldn't have bought their games, because by buying their products, you are now in support of BioWare and EA's direction. Hyprocrites, to the max.

I don't badmouth Coca-Cola products all day long and then go out and buy a 24-pack of Cokes.

Well I can actually sympathise with this. I also would rather have one or two of my ME2 squad instead but oh well.

Actually I do prefer when there is not too much new characters, as they tend to steal the lights of the old ones. And having a new characters while not being able to use the old ones actually exactly proves my point.

Jack is actually my fav character of the new crew in ME2. I could do without Miranda, Jakob, Samara and Thane though. Not that I hated them, but aside from their LM I never actually used them.

Jack is actually my fav character of the new crew in ME2. I could do without Miranda, Jakob, Samara and Thane though. Not that I hated them, but aside from their LM I never actually used them.

jack is one of my favorite characters too.  I like how she changes as you go through her dialogues and stuff... but still keeps a hardness to her attitude even as she does.  Very different from the typical "hard shelled wounded dove" stereotype she seems to have at first tht melts as soon as you crack her tough outter layer.  Even when you get her to open up a bit she's still got a ton of attitude.
