Ah, the Wire. And it's not really that surprising. Most anticipated and the 3rd game of a trilogy.

Let's see... I'm guessing 710,000 pre-orders. Anyone else have any bets?

I'm going with over a million.

Note how low ME2's were at eight weeks, relative to its status in the final week before the game was released.

My favorite video game didn't even sell twice the current pre-order number in its entire lifetime while on the PlayStation market. Pre-order replaced with time-traveled pre-order for my favorite game instead.

Hmm... Quite true... And if they get the BF3 players hooked with the demo they could get a big jump.

PS3 and Xbox pre orders way outweigh the cancelled PC pre-orders, the console didn't have freedoms to be taken away.

You wont' see a dip of cancelled pre-orders on a chart that shows X-Box sales.

Origin is only for the PC version; there's no need to cancel an X-Box order if the only thing you're concerned about is the Origin program itself.

That chart ONLY tracks pre-orders for the X-Box version of Mass Effect 3. It does not track all retail pre-orders.

Wud.? No Origin for XBox? Pre-order cancelled.

And yup, with PC and PS3 sales together, ME3 is not unlikely to snatch the one million marker.

Well I doubt it will go on like this. People probably just preordererd early. I'd say it stay below 1 million. Probably even below 900,000.

The general trend in preordering history suggests otherwise. Yes, quite a few preordered early this time, but this last two months is historically where things really start to spike upward, and this past week suggests a continuation of tradition.
