I wonder if Origin has something to do with the low PC turn out.

I want to laugh at them, but at this point it would feel like kicking someone when they're down. And they've got cancer. And their entire family recently died in a car accident. And they just lost all their life savings to another Wall Street scam. And it's raining and their tent is leaking in. And there are mosquitos and Cazadores everywhere.

No suprise considering everyone only goes for the console pre-orders because of Origin.
Edit: Oh well i think thats why, VGchartz only count US pre-orders, what us european pre-orders ever done to you? thats just stupid!

That's why PC pre-orders were rising by a couple thousands each week prior the Origin announcement and now barely increase 500+ weekly? The PLC wrote...
No, that's because no one plays PC games. But that's okay. I'm not going to tell what to play games on.

Also, not to rain on the parade, but now that we're so close to the end of the console cycle and the hardware is getting cheaper, there are more people who have Xbox 360s now than there used to be. That might have something to do with the dramatic increase in pre-orders. (On the other hand, the popularity of ME2 probably does, too.)

It was a no brainer for me after missing out on pre-ordering ME2. I didn't want to make the same mistake again. So I pretty much had the game pre-ordered an entire year in advance.

This claim should be prefixed with "in North America". The PC gaming market is healthier in Europe.

And the fact that it is just origin could be a huge assumption as well. for all you know the pre-orders for PC are just hitting a saturation point and Origin only counts for a small piece of the drop. But nobody ever figures that anymore.

two of them on different platforms are mine as well... Using the Multiplayer to draw some friends into the game. And then I have it on my main platform. Getting all of the exclusives is just a bonus to that evil plot of mine.

I for once prefer Origin for a couple of reasons.
1) It just installed and worked as it should, while Steam had a problem and their support couldn't help me,I was searching the internet for weeks until I found random dude on a chat and he told me to use the Command Prompt, and I only got Steam to work by adding additional code random internet dude knew of.
2)Origin is translated to my language while Steam is not. While I speak English very well,it's more convinient to use a program at my own language.

I hope I get to see the PC chart some day. And see a MASSIVE drop in pre orders at the time Origin was confirmed. That'll teach EA.
Teach them what, to have them focus exclusively for consoles?
