From VGChartz
"Mass Effect 3 (X360) is up one spot to number one, as it adds 79,000 pre-orders, up from 56,000 last week, for a total of 536,000. The game is on track of passing one million pre-orders by launch. The game is eight weeks away from launch, March 6, 2012 in the USA."
And there's still around a month and a half before the game releases. Awesome.
Yeah it takes a lot of courage and faith to pre-order a game. /sarcasmBurneye Is God wrote...

Ten of them are mine because it is the only way to get all the content with these whack exclusive deals everywhere.
I kid, I kid. But two of them really are mine.
Spending $60 on a shogun you can get on E-bay for about $5. lolBalmung31 wrote...

Me, too. X360 version from both Gamestop and Origin for all SP DLC, one being a CE.
This is the ONLY game series I would ever buy 2 copies of, even if it is a cheap marketing tactic.

From all reviews I've read, and through my own limited experience with the current beta, it looks like Origin flat-out sucks. As it is, I'm unable to connect to the store due to a server error. I know EA has rejected the prospect of operating through Steam, but is it possible to pre-order the PC version of Mass Effect 3 via electronic download without using this service? Sorry if this is under the wrong forum, but I was hoping someone might know the answer to this. Thanks.
What other digital services are there? I'm relatively new to PC gaming; Steam is really the only one I have experience with.packardbell wrote...

Origin isn't the only digital service selling it, however you will stil be required to use it for activation purposes.

From what I've seen so far:
Gamersgate
Green Man Gaming
Direct2Drive (rebranded to gamefly)
Impulse (rebranded to gamestop downloads)

So anyone got the statistic for PC and PS3?
Source WikipediaVGChartz provides tools for data analysis and charting and regular written analysis of the data referencing major news in the video gaming industry. Sales figures on VGChartz are based on estimates extrapolated from small retail samples.[4] While offering some information about their methodology through their website,[5] VGChartz does not publish any sources on how they get their data. Some sites, including Gamasutra and Wired News, have questioned the reliability of the information presented by the site.[4][6] VGChartz has defended the credibility and reliability of its sales data,[7] often comparing their numbers with the ones published by NPD Group,[8] although some charts have been retroactively adjusted to better match NPD's monthly reports.[4][9]
