It means VGChartz does not count either WalMart or Target.  Considering that these are the majority of non-digital PC sales, that is why their estimates are so incredibly off.

That's a pretty big jump. And this is before the demo comes out.

Looks like my guess of 710,000 is going to be wrong.

I know of quite a few releases, ACV would have my attention more if not for a large selection of other problems.

Will it hit 1 million pre-orders?

Will ME3 sell 5 million copies?

I'm having a lot of reserves about ME3

I'm seeing a lot of similarities between ME 2 and 3 as i did with DA:O and DA2

The focus on the combat
The complete disregard for prior games in the series
Wanting to "appeal to new players"

I'm think I'm done with Bioware after this

For PS3 Twisted Metal european players/fans, Jaffe just tweeted the EU release date a few hours ago, and DERP! it's one day after ME3 have being released in US (March 7 to be correct)

Wow, that makes so much sense! I guess that means people don't buy games because they actually want them, but because they feel they have to, and in this case, ME3 is their only choice. Wow! Amazing analysis!

You seem to be under the impression that I'm not aware that people will buy anything given the right marketing

You sure know a lot about consumer behavior. Too bad you're wrong in pretty much everything you say. People are not going to buy a video game, unless they want it.

And please take your anti-ME3 talk somewhere else. This is a thread for talking about/looking at pre-order numbers, not whining about ME3.

Oh don't worry, I'm sure there will be plenty of Gear of Wars and Cawadooty fans who are dying to pwn noobs with the omni blade who will replace me

No one wants a video game they haven't even played. They THINK they want it, but what they end up with might be completely different than what they expected

Sweet mother of Jebus....
No one wants to see a movie they haven't even seen. They THINK they want to!
No one wants a book they haven't even read. They THINK they want it!
No one wants a burger they haven't even eaten. They THINK they want it!
No one wants to go to a concert they haven't even gone to. They THINK they want to!

Now you're getting it.

It's called hype. Companies show you a flashy trailer to hype people up so they buy the game. If it's a good game, then great, if it's a bad game, they no longer WANT the game now do they?

Oh and buy the way, concert is a bad analogy because the people at the concert have already heard the bands music

Happy to enlighten

Games that I'm not really sure about regardless of trailer I wait for reviews, and friends who wasted money to review. Just because something has a flashy trailer doesn't mean I'm gonna spend the resources to pre order. I usually wait and see.
