ME3 will sell more than 1 million on day-1 for 360 alone. I wonder about the other platforms.

Good question.

I agree with the whole action and story modes these seem for the casual players. Mass effect 3 Combat and RPG do seem improved from mass effect 2 so just pick RPG mode. Dragon Age 2 was done by a different Bioware team (Who were obviously rushed a sub-par product). The Tiberium series is done by another bioware team. So they have the Mass effect Team, Dragon age Team, Star wars Team, Tiberium Team. The Mass Effect team will be absorbed by the other teams unless they plan for another mass effect within 2 years (3 years if they are using a new engine).

XCOM (March 6th) and I am Alive (March 7th) are going to flop badly on the X360. There is no way they have a chance at ME3. Any game released during that week will have poor sales simply because its mass effect and EA is promoting the game. Other games in march may have a chance once its past ME3 launch week

X-Com has been pushed back.
Also Bioware Victory is doing the Generals series, not the Tiberium (although it doesn't really matter since the new studio is just basically the same dev with a new name).
I doubt the ME3 team which consists the main core of Bioware's original best will be absorbed. Besides for the team at Austin, they're currently one of EA/Bioware's big moneymakers.

Got my Collector's edition pre-ordered on Amazon. No doubt the action-involved hype has led to more sales, I just hope it leads to more gamers appreciating a game with a story rather than to Bioware making more action-based games.
As long as bioware continues to say "We want CoD's audience" I wouldn't count on it. I guess I am glad for Story Mode at least. That way i can actually enjoy the story without having pew pew pew shoved down my throat every couple seconds.

TOR was worth the 60 dollars imo...DA2 was NOT worth the 60 dollars. ME2 was worth the 60 dollars. Say what you want about it...but theres a reason ME2 was so damn popular.

The reason is because the game was catered to the neandrethals on consoles. Clearly an unsavory group if ever there was one. They are not fit to play games of refinement such as Alpha Protocol. Now there was a game gents. It had everything we rpg purists want in a game. Buggy, boring and wholly unenjoyable combat? Righto! Horrendous voice acting? Of course! The simpletons of the general gaming populous clearly do not understand satire. The horrible voice acting was a statement on the necessity for silent protagonists.
In short, Mass Defect 2 (here I clearly demonstrate my wittiness) was catered to the cave dwelling amoebas. No, no. No popular games for me chaps! Give me rpgs made by long-defunct studios every time. Sales numbers are little more than popularity numbers which I do not care about (Disclaimer: This is in no way due to my own real life unpopularity).
So adieu Bioware! I shall surely never return to you (Disclaimer: Never is a strong word.). Good luck with the knuckle-draggers!

Granted about Red Alert 2 being decent. Tiberian Sun was my favorite in the series, with its expansion balancing the damn Artillery.

My only problem with this is that Mass Effect was built for the Console in mind, and then casually ported to the PC.
Other than that, its partially amusing.

TOR was not worth 60 dollars, nevermind 15 a month after that
It's a striped down WoW clone with linear planets and static worlds.
Not to mention half the servers are dead because Bioware added too many to begin with

Really? you must have picked crap servers...mine is just fine. Since clearly the game being brand new would have absolutely nothing to do with that. FYI...opinion =/= Fact. I am sorry if you have some unending compulsion to hate everything.
