In case OP was not informed,

Jack already went through a bunch of iterations that had her with different clothes and hairstyles, but the art director said no to most of them because that's not who Jack is as a person.

It would not be right, it would do her injustice. Her look is constructed in a way that is made to repel people, not attract them to her.

Did you see those surgical scars Jack has on her neck and all over her arms and torso from all the experiments Cerberus made on her body? What's on top of those?

Tattoos.

Those tattoos mean something to her. Every last one of them. And it's none of anyone's business to judge.

And altering a character's look to be conventionally attractive to someone who claims to be a fan of hers just so that person could be happy with romancing her even though he has multiple characters that likely fit his idea of beauty is taboo.

I'm sorry, but how is Jack's look outdated?

I suppose they think they're ushering in a new age of tolerance by making a uniform look for all the characters to have.

Okay, lets do it this way: If you saw a bald girl with tattoos in real life, would you call her look "outdated"? I don't think so. Jack may have been designed, but in the game world, those tattoos are who she is.
