I've recently ran into trouble with a C3 mesh after I modified my walkmesh.  Here's a pic from 3ds max of the two meshes and the model in the middle.  the original model is not mine, just an FYI.

I had everything woorking fine, then I decided to add in a balcony towards the peak of the building.  Once I did that and added in the long rectuangular box for the balcony mesh, as seen in the pic with the red (wood mesh) top, the C3 stopped working completely.  The new walkmesh works fine, but now the C3 acts as if it is not even there, even when walking up the stairs which was entirely fine before.

Is there something I am doing wrong with the geometry to have caused this problem?  Any suggestions from what you can see below?

Here's the pic. http://img577.images...7587/meshes.jpg

Got it working again, but now, the building placeable disappears when you're walking on or around it like it does for environmental objects.  It is definitly not set to environmental and still has it's walkmesh.  Nothing has been changed in the object properties in 3ds...  wtf?  Any help?

I was hoping someone would respond. bacuase I have had these issues also.

Sometiems this works, adn sometimes it doesn't
Make sure your C3 completely convers the model and walkmesh (no model parts sticking out of the C3)
Make sure your C2 convers the the entire C3

soem times this has fixed the issue , and other times it hasn't

Gotcha. It's weird, like I did something to the placable object itself, and not any of the meshes. I know there are transparency flags in the MDB Tools options that can be checked on, but they are definitely off.

I can export the model without a C3 or C2 mesh and it still does the same thing. I'll try fiddling around with it and your suggestions and see what happens. *shrugs*

thanks. :)
