The fact that he even managed to do that is ridiculous. not to mention half the other **** she did that novel.

He didn't actually manage to do it, remember? He used metal rungs on the ceiling. And even with that, he barely reached his shuttle before the security of the academy caught him.

I liked the novels but kai leng was defiantly to over powered to the point he was invincible made him less believably as a character but he is a good villain just needs to be toned down a bit

i can say the same for shepard regarding the over powered argument and yet..........

all i can say is kai ling will be the joker to shepards batman because im expecting a epic fight between them

shepard is over powered agreed but not to the point where hes taking out krogen with knifes and getting shoot in the legs and still escaping from anderson but your right he is really the anti shepard i hope it comes down to a one on one fight at the end that would be cool

i swear i wish it was march already because the wait is killing me

He was not that overpowered. He knew better than to fight ReaperAvatar-Grayson and, by the end of the book, he had to drag himself to safety or Anderson would have killed him.

The fact that he even managed to do that is ridiculous. not to mention half the other **** she did that novel.

you do realize miliatry do actually do that right? but i guess thats ridiculous for you seeing as you call it being "" over powered""

it's survial dude

Oh my god.. Did you actually READ the part of the novel? The was phsically impossible for him to escape considering his injuries.

I do remeber and that is still ridiculous. That changes nothing.

Or people are smart enough to differentiate a bad novel from a good one.

The "Barely got away" mentality of the whole thing is what makes it unrealistic.

Really? you would put revelations at the top? As much as I hate Retribution I thought that was the best one.

It could still be a 'so bad it's good' one. Which is its main appeal for me atm.

Also, did no one else catch that pic being the concept for James Sanders?

i loved revelations alot. i guess its because im a sucker for early stories that are 20 years before a game or film.

I would advise reading revelations first so you know who the characters are and the basics of whats going on all tho you can read the 2 without that there still good but the 1st one obviously is a good place to start

A lot of crap Shepard does involves nearly escaping.  Hell depending on the background Shepard doesn't escape a pirate invasion Shepard stays right there and holds them off.

Thane can take down multiple eclipse soldiers one of them likely a Asari Commando hand to hand. Thane even uses multiple MAGIC dissappearing acts in the game and the Shadow Broker vids.

Zaeed has taken on a Krogan Battlemaster in hand to hand and won. Zaeed also has been shot in the freaking head with a gun that uses hypervelocity rounds point blank.

If people are annoyed by Kai Leng's feats please do not ignore the insane **** most ME companions can do. The things I just mentioned is just a small amount.

I think the main reason why people disliked him was due to Kai Leng being relatively new and being a actual badass that is a villain and isn't Saren. Also he is rather xenophobic.

He is a bit Villain sue due to the fact that we have only seen him really fight and win successfully and close quarters fights. When he was in a gun fight with Anderson it wasn't really in his favor.

Turians aren't really that much stronger than humans at all and when faced with a highly trained Assassin who excels at close quarters combat you won't due to well in close quarters with the guy. That whole Turian scene maybe a bit much but it really does look like something Thane could easily pull off.

Takind down multiple Turian soldiers in hand to hand using a knife is something I could see Thane doing. Except Thane would use his fists. Zaeed would probably glare at them and they would die. Shepard would just use a Renegade interrupt.

thats why i call him the joker to shepards batman because thats how its looking and there going to bring the best out of eachother
