hm all my rogues/warriors have betwean 18%-35% crit chance. but is critical hits really that important?(dog has 18.70)
all you do is 50% more damage.
I find Archery sustained modes useless. Do you use any?

If I'm not terribly mistaken, a 25% crit chance with each crit doing +50% additional damage that would translate to a straight +12.5% damage increase. Not shabby. Even more important, critting frozen/petrified enemies will insta-kill them.

Rapid shot talent/sustained mode is an early game ability. When you have a bow with Rapid aim on it, that replaces the need to use rapid shot as i dont see any difference in speed with using them both (same as haste not stacking woth other attack speed abilities) .
You can then gain normal crits when shooting and by mid-late games should have some +crit gear to improve that. Could also use +crit/backstab damage gear to improve crit damage by 50% upto 200%, tho that gear is prolly best for dual-wielders.
The other sustained abilities are situational, Aim makes you shoot too slow for my liking so i typically dont use a mode and just use song of courage (Great for archers imo, +attack+damage+Crit) and/or suppressing fire against bosses as it gives no shot penalties to you.

For Lelianai have been geting lockpicking3, stealth3, Lethality, bard3, full4 in the bottom 2 archer trees.
Any other talent points well thats upto you. You could go for master archer or spend in a 2nd spec tree. Not keen on ranger persoanlly as the pet is 60 sustained stam, and with the Song of courage really hurts the available stam. Though i suppose the damage from the pet may be worth it. I typically pick Duelist or assasin just for the attribute bonuses.
Might even pickup combat movement as you do gain the +attack(hit) from shooting from behind even tho you dont gain the backstab damage bonus.
