Who captured Omega from Aria?
Who is strategy genius, for the most part?
Who is high ranking Cerberus operative that highly competent, not reckless, ethical and respect his enemies?

It's General Oleg Petrovsky!
Image IPB

Say anything you want about Cerberus( cause I have), but this guy is awesome!

If he appears in Mass Effect 3, he'll probably be only Cerberus operative I like.

Kai Leng may be a badass, but he is racist xenophobe that would kill aliens just for fun.
Illusive Man may be awesome, but he is unethical, reckless and manipulative bastard.

Oleg Petrovsky in other is patient, knows how to do his job, respects his enemies, cares for his troops and civilians( human and alien).

He is pretty much good guy on wrong side of the war.

High respects for that guy.
Hope for him to be in Mass Effect 3.
Hopefully to have option to avoid killing him too.

"Is Oleg Petrovsky in ME3? I'll spam this question until answered. He is one of my favorite characters!"

"Maybe. #Question #Answered"

Support, he can do a much better job than TIM leading Cerberus, I'm hoping he'll play a role in the climax of the Cerberus sub-plot in ME3

Or at least in liberation of Omega.

Like proving him that Illusive Man is responsible for Adjutants outbreak that caused many Cerberus personal and civilian deaths.

And then with him you go against Aria.

As much as Aria is awesome, she is money grabbing and control freak b*tch.

Plus, I think Cerberus troopers on Omega won't be indoctrinated.

I'm pretty sure Illusive Man wants some people who aren't indoctrinated after betraying Reapers.

I doubt he'll make an appearance in ME3, as that means Bioware has to portray Cerberus as more than just Pete and his army of faceless mooks. In-faction politics (or just politics in general), depth and moral greyness in my Mass Effect? I don't see it happening anytime soon.

^Except that always was in ME universe and it will be in ME3.

Besides, you really think Mac Walters would ruin his favorite character, Illusive Man?

Sadly enough, yeah. So much for "many decisions [lying] ahead, none of them easy".

Going by what we know of ME3? Yes.

Perhaps not willingly, though, but because others willed it.

Hudson is above Walters in the foodchain, and it also looks like the team is eager to capitulate their universe's integrity for what vocal groups want.

That's just blatantly untrue. You Cerbies are as vocal as they come, and they're not listening to a word you say.

Wonder why.

Now we both know that isn't true.

^That's for the characters to be squadmates, not on political greyness in ME universe.

Which exist in ME universe.

Only that Cerberus never meant to be one, with exception of few people in Cerberus like Miranda, Jacob and Oleg; who are also mislead by Illusive Man from true purpose of Cerberus.

Yeah, "political greyness" like merc groups that commit atrocities for the lulz and entire species like the Vorcha and Batarians whose sole purpose is to be hated and provide Shepard something to shoot at.

ME is as black and white as any Final Fantasy game.

^You haven't payed any attention nor read any codex entry in neither ME1 and ME2 playthrough, I presume.

I'll just jump in here, show my appreciation for Oleg's character and jump out. We all knew it was only a matter of time (in this case, just a few short moments) before this argument happened.

Thanks for appreciating Oleg.

And it's quite unfortunate that argument happen so soon.

I only read the plot details on ME wikia, but Omega should have fallen easily with Aria dead. Although most of that was the writer backing themselves in the corner scraping BS together to drag out the thing to 4 issues with Aria alive and so doesn't reflect on Petrovsky too much.

^Maybe they could have easily done that, but then there would heavy civilian casualties that Petrovsky wouldn't allow.

And if they went with "easy" route, it would have just another everyone in Cerberus is evil plot.
With Petrovsky we get to revisit that there are people who aren't murdering and xenophobic psychopaths that work in Cerberus.
Plus a sneak peek on what we will see and do in ME3.

So Bioware does a little something for the fans and that compromises the story's intregrity? Bioware isn't making these games for themselves, you know. Besides, Tali being a squadmate or whoever being romancable is extremely insignificant in the big picture.

And vocal groups? That's ironic coming from you. You Cerberus fans come out to bash Bioware and provoke arguments any chance you get, especially in TIM or Cerberus related threads.

I'm really hoping we see Petrovsky in ME3. He's one of the few non-Normandy Cerberus agents who isn't a complete monster.

I support Oleg Petrovsky. A true leader.
I hope he is in ME3. He would be either an worthy opponent or a very good candidate for a leadership position in a reformed Cerberus.
