I really hope he is in ME3. It would be interesting to be able to chose to side with Oleg or Aria. Assuming that he is not indoctrinated or anything silly.

If that became a choice in Mass Effect 3 then I'm most likley supporting Oleg.

I didn't say he's evil, nor arrogant. Well, if it's the only russian cliche in western culture then i must take my words back.

^Well, it might be cliche for movies, novels and comics.

But for video games, no.
OK, he's still only in comic, BUT IN VIDEO GAME FRANCHISE!

I can deal with characters being extremely cliche, as long as they are well written and interesting.

Take Geralt of Rivia, for example. He is a portraid as a very cliche character (I'm talking about the game), yet I find him being the second best RPG protagonist that I have played.

^Not a good example, if you ask me.

And this time, I beat the Witcher 1.

I just read the series and forgive me if this has already been remarked, but I get big time Admiral Thrawn vibes from Petrovsky. Which is nice.

Me too, assuming certain conditions are met. Firstly of course there can be no hint of indoctrinatiion. Secondly he cannot be taking orders from TIM.

Maybe supporting him could cause a split in Cerberus and make your job easier. Having the reasonable portion of Cerberus on your side would be a good thing.

Just thought about Oleg's role in the game he must definitely be in the game, 'cause Omega is in the game, and Oleg didn't go anywhere else. Btw, i remember some old footage with Aria's small pic in the bottom. Considering the events in the comic, it couldn't be a simple place holder...

That is probably Sederis, founder of Eclipse.

Plus, Aria is blue not purple.

We deen seen few purple Asari, so it's not a mistake and we never seen Sederis so she might be a temporary squadmate.

^That's do to lightning in Omega.

Otherwise, she's blue.

No, I am pretty sure she actually is puple. For instance she still is purple on the Cerberus Ship.

As for Art3's comment, I agree Oleg will probably be in charge of Omega when ME3 comes around. It would be strange to release a comic series just prior to launch and then not include that in game.

Also Mac Walter's tweet seems like a coy avoidance of the question, rather than anything else. Based on what I have read he would be a good ally, even if he is a little pompous.

Yes if you could get Oleg on your side it could be better than having Aria run Omega not only would it remove Aria ,who I don't trust, from the picture, but getting Omega and part of the Cerberus forces on your side would be better asset. In fact it makes me wonder what would be the paragon/renegade decision in a choice like that. I would guess supporting Oleg would be renegade and Aria Paragon though not sure.

^I think it wouldn't be Paragon nor Renegade.

But more like Ashley or Kaidan choice.

I mean, betraying Aria and helping Cerberus is not very Paragon.

But helping Oleg and getting rid of a crime boss is not Renegade either.

I have a theory.

I think Oleg has Charm skill like Shepard.

He managed to get Aria worked with him, despite knowing Cerberus killed her daughter during Deception.

Which wouldn't make it a complete "good/evil" decision, which I would certainly like.

And no paragon/renegade choices should be included!

^I certainly hopes so. And when I say that, I mean this being in the whole game.

I really hope they fix that for ME3.

I mean, how hard is to make choices like Ashley/Kaidan and then gives us option for what reason we are doing it that can be Paragon or Renegade.

^Well the whole Paragon/Renegade system is flawed imho.

Improvements can certainly be made, but as long as it doesn't require charm or intimidation, I'm good.

^I think charm and intimidation should be in, BUT also alternative way to get same end.

Like with Tali trial.

You can use crowd instead of charm or intimidation to not get Tali exiled AND not give evidence to admirals.

But it requires Veetor sane( more or less), Kal'Reager alive, talk to them( think) and talk to at least 1 admiral about political views on Geth and it's influence on that trial.
