Something like that yes.

The outcome of Tali's trial should have only been influenced by the crowd imo. If you hasn't had Veetor, Kal'Reager and one admiral convinced, Tali wouldn't have been "freed". But no, simply me having chosen the paragon options previously and only choosing the charm option at the trial, is enough to get everything right, and that is imho a ludicruous move.

But basically the whole game works like that (to some extent). I don't need to even follow what's happening. I can almost only "herd derp" through the whole game and choosing the paragon option to get everything right. Only in very few occasions that won't work. But then I only need to pick the upper right option.

But many decisions that requires this can backfire in ME3, but from what I've heared, it won't.

But honestly though, I hope it gets an major improvement in ME3.

^Also I remember Garrus loyalty is done well, kinda.

If you in ME1 influence Garrus to be Paragon, you won't need charm to make him spare Sidonis.

If you influence him to go Renegade( maybe even not at all, need confirmation), you'll need charm to spare Sidonis.

And LotSB done it right with Vasir.

Don't want to shoot hostage and don't have or don't want to use charm or intimidate?
Drop thermal clips and power cells.

You get punished, yes.
But it is alternative and for some might be good thing since it adds more challenge in boss fight.

Yes yes, that's why I added the "to some extent" part. There are moments that are handled in a good way, but there are more parts that are not that good.

I'm not saying the morality should be removed, but rather improved.

^Well you did sound like you want it completely removed, at first.

Also, I'd like to say I plan to make "Remaking ME trilogy" in future.
Something like what smudboy did with "Fixing ME2", only realistic and good.

Have few ideas already, but I'll wait until I gather all info in ME3 before I start doing this.

Plus, I'd like some assistance and do to Google Docs, I could ask you to help.
Though, NOW we are off topic.

Sounds good. I'd be happy to help. We can discuss this further on Skype.

And to stay on topic, here's a short impression on Oleg's badassery (as we wouldn't know it already).

Too bad that didn't happen.

Though, then again.
Oleg would have been killed there if it did.

This thread needs more attention.

Anyway, have a random reason why Oleg follows TIM.

Marcus Agrippa is a badass. A similiar 'rise to power' from Oleg would be sweet.

^Hmh, dunno.

Anyone from Empire in Star Wars with name that didn't leave and join rebels/Republic is always just an evil bastard.
Though, I guess that guy is different from the sound of it.

I was actually talking about Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, the Roman General who commanded the Octavian Legionnaires and achieved many major military victories through both skill and knowledge.

I recommend reading about him. His loyalty and relationship to Octavian, and his defiant skill in the battlefiel are something that should be read.

haha, Octavian had Agrippa fight his batles.  The future Augutus, didn't have the stomach to fight.

It's too bad none of the Cerberus troops you fight in ME3 wear that Cerberus assault armor from ME2. That would have been a nice connection between the games.

ME2 Cerberus armour and uniforms look great, they had style. Not overly keen on the ME3 look, they seem more like robots. Maybe that is to de-humanise them and make it easier to kill them.

Still holding out hope that we get to join forces with Oleg and non-indoctrinated troops.

You'd be surprised how many Leaders did the exact same thing.

^Didn't he slept with his own sister?

Also, didn't that Borgia guy in AC Brotherhood did the same?
Not just slept with his sister, but fight with his own man, at least sometimes.

Wait, how's this Oleg Petrovsky related?

Also, about him.

It's hinted he may be in ME3.
But jsut that, it could still be anyone to do that.

He did, and let the people of Vizima suffer for 7 years just b/c he didn't want his 'monster child' to be killed, but rather have the curse lifted from her.

He is a stubborn and flawed king, but simultaneously a great one. This kind of people interest me, a lot.
