He did, and let the people of Vizima suffer for 7 years just b/c he didn't want his 'monster child' to be killed, but rather have the curse lifted from her.

He is a stubborn and flawed king, but simultaneously a great one. This kind of people interest me, a lot.

It could have still worked without f*cking his own sister.

Adda becoming a Striga? Nah, it wasn't b/c of that. Blame Foltest mother or Ostrit for that one.

So from what I heard, hopes on Oleg to be in ME3 are low.

DLC in future maybe.

Sorry to hear that. Where did you find that out?

^People that have Space Edition copy.

They never mentioned Oleg Petrovsky.

He can still be in, but doubtful.

Though I have more hopes on DLC with him.

I mean, Adjutants were big part of Invasion comic series and were cut for whatever reason.
Animations or too overpowered enemies or both or something else.

It's possible Bioware may save Oleg for future DLC's and in one of them will include Adjutants as well.

Yeah, that would suck, indeed. But this guy still has my support, and hopefully there's something for him, if not, tough cookies.

That's a shame. Ever since I read about that comic on the ME wiki I've been hoping that Petrovsky would show up and turn on the Illusive Man after finding out that they were released intentionally, or some other plot of the IM's that gets more of Oleg's men killed for no reason.

Holding on to hope that Oleg Petrovsky will still be himself in the inevitable "Take Back Omega" DLC and Shepard will be able to side with him.
The Elbrus will spearhead the retake of Earth!

^Oleg Petrovsky will save ME3 endings!

If that "The Truth" DLC rumor is true.

Just reminding Bioware that we are here and that a well intentioned extremist (and it's debatable how much of an extremist Petrovsky really is) would always be a much better leader for Omega than a gang boss who cares about no one but herself.
Just putting that out here. For no reason.

Forget all that ethical thought crap, Cerberus is evil period and if my Shepard and Aria have a chance to retake Omega from this Oleg guy, I hope Aria puts a bullet in his head and if she does not I will. Everyone Cerberus except defectors and those who are loyal to Shepard will perish. END OF STORY. THREAD LOCKED LOL J/K

My appreciation to Oleg. If there is someone in Cerberus that not lose his ability to think adequate - it's him. I hope there will be an option to dealt with him without dead. Maybe even make him a war asset.

Yes, a major concern is that there is some retconning and he is made 50% more evil, and has to be killed. Or even he stays as he is, but he says something like  "I cannot betray the illusive man", and so Shepard has to reluctantly kill him.

Still, I am holding out hope - I thought he would be killed off in the end of the comic series and was pleasantly surprised he made it.

Oleg Petrovsky didn't even shown a glimpse of extremism, guys.

He's pretty much like Miranda, pro-human not anti-alien.

By extremist, I referring more to his methods.
He, consistently, shows a care for civillian lifes and those of his troops. He forbade the use of explosives because "innocent" (this is Omega, afterall) people lived near Aria's club and his first tought upon seeing his men get injured is to send medics to them.

However, when Aria pushed him too far, he was willing to bring down Omega level by level if that was what it took.
He was still going to evacuate as many civillians as possible but leveling a city of millions is an extreme method.

Also, in my headcannon, Oleg was the one who recruited Miranda into Cerberus and mentored her.

I'm having an hard time picturing how Petrovsky will appear if they stay true to his character.
He would never accept TIM forcefully implanting soldiers and civilians alike with Reaper technology but I also can't imagine TIM would pass up the opportunity of rounding up everyone in Omega for experiments.

^In game files there is War Asset called Cerberus fleet, but you never got it in anywhere in game.

It's possible that Oleg Petrovsky and his loyal troops left Cerberus, or at least denounced Illusive Man, and taken over Omega for themselves to block Illusive Man's operation on Omega and through Omega 4 Relay.

Either:
(1) Oleg is depressed, because TIM is in the early stages of carting-off the inhabitants. He is disillusioned with his role in the situation, and Cerberus in general. With Shepards help he starts to take action.
or
(2) As Mesina mentioned above, he has shut Omega off, much to TIM's annoyance.

This is all assuming that the character is the same as that in the comics. And also that the DLC does not involve you playing solo as Aria (which I really hope is not true...I think it was just someone trolling pretending to be a BW employee that said this).

^Someone was probably trolling with that one.

I mean, solo as Aria?
Why?

Exactly. For a start Aria is a pretty well defined character - if you play as her either your choices will have to be very limited (basically kill everyone who p*ssed you off) or you get to completely break her character.

And if you play as Aria, there is only going to be one ending to Take back Omega.

But as I said, probably trolling.

^Yeah.

Plus it's a problem since she would be an Adept.
Not everyone likes that class or knows how to play with it.

So forcing what class to play with is not a good idea.
