Damn. I went to order this today only to find that it's no longer up for the Xbox 360. PC and PS3 versions are still up though. I've put an order down for the PC version but most likely to back out because my main play throughs have been on the Xbox and I'm not overly keen with having to put Origin on my machine. Will probably settle for the standard Xbox version, even if it'll look lonely next to the CEs of the first two games :-(

The ME3 CE for all platforms were allready sold-out after about 1~1:30 min after they were posted on the site in my country. WOW

The Mass Effect 3 collectors edition seems to be available again for pre-order at game.co.uk and gamestation.co.uk for all platforms as of today.

That's somewhat comforting. I only ordered the Collector's Edition recently an with others mentioning how they've had an email stating that they wouldn't be getting their order I always had a slight worry that that may happen to me. If they're selling it again though it most likely means they've got hold of more stock so shouldn't need to worry.

I pre-ordered the PS3 CE when it was first announced, but I hope GAME don't mess my order up like they did with Gears 3. They kept cancelling. Fingers crossed it won't happen again...

GAME are undergoing major financial difficulties, which means their credit to buy new stock has been withdrawn.

So why won't EA/Bioware open up the CE to other retailers? Limited stock means people are going to miss out, therefore last sales.

I pre-ordered mine the moment it was announced on GAME. With my previous screw up on the Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition pre-order, there was no way I was going to miss this.

I wonder what EA will do if GAME does collapse before March. Many of us would have CE pre-orders that should be honoured one way or another..

That's presuming there even is more CE stock available to buy anyway. Considering it's sold out pretty much everywhere i'd hazard a guess that there is little to no stock to restock.

Damn, my local GAME better honor my CE Pre-order. I put a whole £5 deposit down on that sucker ages ago. I hope they don't go out of business before ME3s release.

Anyway the fact that the CE is exclusive to GAME is kind of a monopoly, isn't it? If this were Australia I think the competition watchdog would be on it like white on rice. I wonder what the UK version is doing? Hiding from the cold?

no where else in the uk has the CE unless its owned by game group

I don't think anything is going to happen to GAME between now and March. 

Game even has teh pre-order bonus items listed on their site now. A good sign, yes?

International means exactly that... international, most likely selling their stores in European countries that are not peforming as well as others.

is there anything bioware could do to garunttee orders for uk CEholders

Ah, that's terrible news, I much prefer GAME to GameStop, even though they filled their allocations regarding the CE therefore I had to order from the latter, it won't be good for competition if they're only major retailer in Ireland.

Seems to be all fine with current releases. I think it's just being blown out of proportion. 
New releases WILL be at GAME this Friday
