Hi my name is Mitch. And I am a NWN2 Co-DM. I want you to be my partner in creation, in writing and in telling an amazing, quality story set in the Dragonlance setting.
I know, I know, who wants to tell someone else´s story? Right? You have a point. But give me a chance...
What do I offer you, my fellow Co-DM?
Unselfishness. Yes, I do have 34 areas built. Yes, the first 2-3 sessions are built, and I have designed an epic storyline so the end of the campaign is at the very least somewhat defined. BUT I promise you 51% input in every aspect everything in between if you put in your 100%. Everyone, including the player, wants their story told, after all.
Your Own Group. The beauty of the story I´d like to tell is that it REQUIRES 2 groups. It requires 2 groups because it is a morality play. So in a sense you´d have your own group with 100% creative input and I´d be your assistant DM in your sessions, but in the end the actions of the players given the choices presented to them really determine how things progress. Sometimes both groups will be in the same area if the story calls for it or if we feel that we need to spice it up... and this is where we talk.
Hard work! I pledge to work my ass off. And since I have a job that allows me to have free time if I need it: I do work my ass off. You will not catch me slacking as your Co-DM. I understand that sometimes the social life must suffer for art.
The Goods. I have a nifty webpage to project profesionalism and communicate the ongoing story. I have targeted facebook ads to draw from a huge pool of players to be able to find players interested in roleplaying. And I will get us a beefy server to run our campaign.
Building a quality campaign is like setting up a theatrical play or making a movie. It takes time, months of dedication, and sometimes your heart and soul, but in the end you and the actors (the players) all come out of it with great memories, having learned something new, made great new friends. Even better, D&D is superior to theatre or a movie in a very important way... the players are writers of the story as well. It is all one big improvisational play. A thing of beauty.
Scary? Dont want to commit? Please check out http://www.dladventures.org. If the intro video tickles you fancy then just send me an email and take a look at my module, I´ll explain where it starts and where I´d like it to end, and if it jives with you then we can talk about the rest.

Tough crowd
Have 8 players signed up and getting daily submissions. Really need the DM position to define the other remaining group. If the idea piques your interest, let me show you the module... no strings attached.

I read this last week, and it does look very impressive. I enjoy the Dragonlance setting, and always glad to see new projects using that lore. By the way, is this going to be War of the Lance, or 5th Age, or something else?
Unfortunately, I'm more into the single-player side of NWN2 and don't pursue DM co-op play.
But the quality of this should be evident in what you have shared so far.
May the light of Reorx's forge shine upon your work.
Harumph!

Thank you for the props, Dorateen. The game will be post-War of the Lance.
It´s not so much co-op play, as a PnP game. Everyone logs on, we do the adventure then the players say where they want to go next. We build it and we play next week. What times I´ve done it it´s been the most exciting experience I´ve had gaming online or PnP.
If you´re interested in playing or DMing... you´re welcome for a looksee if only for a session to try it out. Up to 10 players already, huzzah
No 2nd DM though

Welp, have 10 players signed up. No DM for the 2nd group. Have a start date of February 18th, if no DM is found til then it´ll have to be a boring ole single DM campaign. Oh well

A couple of reasons you're not getting responses:
1) most people who care about DMing/building are involved in PWs or personal ongoing campaigns as their primary outlets for their creative efforts
2) frankly your "...the players say where they want to go next. We build it and we play next week..." scares me given how much work I know is required to keep producting fresh content for a game every 2 or 3 weeks.
I wish you all the best though... an ongoing campaign is a huge amount of fun!

Haha, yes, it is work
And NWN2 and exterior areas in particular are quite a PITA time-wise.
I take solace in the fact that there is a lot of premade stuff on the vault that could easily be cobbled together into 4-5 areas to feed a session.... and I have some major locations already pre-built. Beauty of being a live DM is that there is no need for scripting which is a lot of the work in itself.
I´ll say it right now. If a DM if worried about the building I´d be willing to put the time into it and toss it to ya before a session to put your personal finishing touches.

Heh, I think I´ve convinced myself that the whole 2 DM thing is never going to happen.
What I would love is for during certain modules I can have a DM with a set of players who could guest star, as either allies, or foes, during certain sessions. If anyone is interested, I´d love to do something like this.. a campain exchange of sorts.
