I just hope that if there is a Deus Ex Machina, it will be uber-tough to get to it.
Other than that, this episode gave me the biggest nerdgasm I've ever had for any one game let alone a franchise. My faith in BioWare has been restored.

Still I kinda wished Bioware hinted at earlier on in the games rather than some casual mention in the Cerberus Networks....
Unless that McGuffin has been mentioned in the two previous games before...

Mass Effect really needs to do this Reaper war as an RTS... it's the only way to do justice to scale of the conflict and the intensity of the fighting. Hopefully a spin off that happens in a similar timefroam as ME3 isn't out of the question.
I recall someone doing a Sins of a Solar Empire mod for the War against the Reapers... Pretty cool..

here's a public service announcement for BSN deus ex machina = a resolution to a problem that SUDDENLY and ABRUPTLY occurs, it shows up right when it is needed. It is not deus ex machina just because it isn't mentioned in ME1 or ME2 (I'm assuming it isn't mentioned at least).
