Since I like to get purely digital versions of games when possible, I purchased the Games on Demand "GoD" version of DA2. Games that loaded fine in the disc based version will fail to load in the GoD version due to "missing title update".
I still have the disc & can still play the games *IF* the game is launched from the DVD & not from the HDD.
Will this be fixed? Do I need to contact EA support & open a ticket?

Seems like the GoD version doesn't load patches properly then. You most likely boot up DA2 v1.00 every time you start from your HDD. I have no idea how to solve this or anything, but I feel your pain and wanted to mention what I think is happening on a technical level.
Ask EA's support about it. I doubt an error like that could be on your end, most likely EA screwed up when they released DA2 on GoD.
