I have a problem with the brightness of the gameplay. I've adjusted the screen gamma rate to the "2" level, but nothing makes the screen brighter.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Based on almost zero diagnostic data input? You're in a PC forum here, not a console forum.  Not possible, sorry.  Here's how, though:

It is is quite possible because it's happening to me. Increasing the video gamma rate does not effect the screen.

Your question was "Any recommendations?" Is that correct or not? How is anyone supposed to answer when you choose to provide zilch with which to attempt diagnostics? Please go here like you were already advised:

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/300/index/6423406

Follow what it says to make a report of the problem that includes enough information be be useful.

Remember that EA is the official tech support provider, and laptops are not supported. Here in the peer to peer forums, when anyone's PC is supposed to be that impossible thing, a "gaming laptop", we can try to help, but because cooling capacity is so minimal, the real facts continue to make that term into an Oxymoron.

Personally, I draw the line and exclude assistance for owners of bad PCs with Intel, S3, and SiS onboard video graphics. None of those were ever intended to game with.
