I'd rather date a quarian over an asari, but Tali is a spoiled, pampered, selfish, hypocritical, short-sighted, immature, brat. I don't like her none.

Since when did I ever hate Liara? I hate Bioware's terrible handling (and rewriting) of her character, but the character (or characters) I like just fine.

Mordin is easily the best romance option.  He doesn't care about your gender and sees you for the human you really are. :wub:

Anyway, TC, if you're going to romance one of the two, you need to see your options:

Character who is obsessed with you no matter how abusive you are towards her (Liara).

Character who has a very dangerous hero worship of you who does care about how you deal with her situations (Tali).

Just pick the character you like the most. Let's be honest. None of the romances are particularly deep or engaging. They are just 2-3 conversations that end with a cheesy scene that is usually ruined by Shepard or the LIs cringeworthy lines, or creepy facial expressions.

If you like both flip a coin, or something.

It must kill you that despite getting permanent squaddie status again they still lack personalities, doesn't it?

And for the record, both of my hands have more personality than everyone in the ME series combined. Real men use both hands before getting a girlfriend/wife. Little boy.
