Limiting deity choices by custom class?

HI, is there a way to limit deity choices by a specific custom class during character creation, and at leveling?

Example, a custom class "anti-paladin" can only chose evil deities.  Also, during leveling, "anti-paladin" can only be chosen if the PC chose an evil deity during creation.

In nwn2_deities.2da, you can indicate if a deity can be chosen by Paladin, Cleric, Druid, and Ranger.  Maybe I can add a column for "anti-paladin" and code it somewhere, or is the gui during character creation hardcoded.

I was wondering the the character creation GUI could me modified to only show certain deities if the character was an "anti-paladin".  ie the game would technically allow an anti-paladin any deity, but the gui wouldn't show the neutral or good deities.

Modifying level-up stuff is something that has been started by 010010. I remember him talking about the potential for adding spells in a similar way to what you're discussing with deities: theoretically permit a wide variety of spells, but only add those that the custom class gets during level-up.

Level-up screens can only be modified after character creation, though (because the PC does yet not exist during character creation) which means you might have to sometimes kludge things together on module enter.

Adding columns to 2da's will not have an effect (at least not one you will like). This is the whole challenge behind things like custom spellbooks.

That's what I thought.  Thanks for the confirmation.  Saved me some work.

Maybe a temporary remedy would be to give a bold red warning in character description, then, set spells to only work if a PC of the custom class worships a list of deities.  The player would be bummed about having to roll up a new character.
