So I romanced Tali at the end and she went to Shepard's room, when your going through the Omega Relay. But I can't call her to Shepard's room for some reason and when I talk to Tali ("I want to talk about you.") but Tali keeps asking if I'm interested being with her and all I am so I can only really pick "Only if it's safe." and if I choose either of the other I'll lose my chance to be in a relationship with her.

But then there's this thing with Jack who thinks she and my Shepard have something and she complains about me being with Tali and I say "I still interested in her (Tali)".

What is going on? Am I in a relationship with Tali? Because I want to be when Mass Effect 3 rolls along. So can anyone tell me what's going on?

Well, if you were in a relationship in ME 1, you have a picture of that person on your desk. If the picture is facedown, you've entered another relationship.

Alternatively, just check if you've unlocked the Paramour achievement.

I've played it over a dozen times and this just happened. But the picture is face down on my desk. But the thing with Jack is still bothering me and causing some concern.

As long as you dont start any other romances you will probably be fine.

Tali's probably worried about catching Jack's diseases.

I'm tempted to restart again now because of this. I know my Shepard romanced Tali and got it on with her, but this little problem is bothering me greatly.

Uhh, once you turn down Jack, that's it. And so long as you didn't renegade sex with her, it shouldn't have any further effects on her file...

Oh your so wrong. I didn't renegade sex her, but some how she thinks there is something there. I'm sure I'm with Tali, but I don't want this screwing me over in ME3 so I'll probably restart...again. -.-

I don't think you have a problem. Gameplay-wise you're in a relationship with Tali while Jack is simply stuck in 'challenge mode' which is what happens to any potential romance where you haven't completely cut off the possiblity. If it really bothers you though in your next playthrough you can either treat Jack like dirt so there is no uncertainty that you're not interested in her. Or you can have casual sex with her or side with Miranda in the loyalty conflict and regain her loyalty with a high enough paragon/renegade persuasion. Although if you do either of the latter two I think she tells you to F*** off whenever you try talking to her again.

I explicitly told both Jack and Tali that I'm not interested in them, that I'm with Miranda and that's that, and they both still think I want them.

Seriously, ladies, I never have this problem as FemShep except in ME1. Come on.

I pissed that this happened because I kept talking to Jack to learn more about her and for more renegade points, but that's it. So now I'm restarting...again...

Seriously dude, you shouldn't have to do another playthrough. If you got the romance scene at the end and didn't break it off then you are in a romance with Tali. It doesn't matter if Jack or Miranda wants you too. Tali can't come up to the Captain's cabin immediately anyway until after you have that conversation with her after the suicide mission down in engineering. Try going back up after you've done that and you should be able to call Tali up on the intercom near your private terminal

honestly the whole come up to cabin is a little bugged and i had intial problems with Miri. if xbox try other disc. if not maybe restarting is a good bet. The jack thing shouldn't be affecting you
