We have just re-enabled the "Manage Characters" and "Manage Screenshots" functionliaty in the player profiles.  An Issue where it wasn't deleting from the online storage is now fixed.

I deleted all my screenshots, and uploaded a few. However I got an in-game message that I had timed out while accessing my online storage (though every screenshot upload hit 100%), and the screenshots don't, as of yet, appear to be on the site.

My screenshot album got deleted. What do I need to do to recreate it? It currently says I have of -1 files uploaded when I look at my "Online Profile" in game.

I deleted every screenshot and all characters I haven't used (only 1 left) and it still says I have used all my online storage space.

Darkemace and KirsiJF did you delete the files just now or before the delete functionality was disabled?

Are all your characters showing up, though?  I've completed the game with a rogue that's never been on the site once.

Just now. Half an hour-fifteen minutes ago.

Edit: I tried uploading some other screenshots and now I was able to do it. Now it's 10/100 for some reason though I only uploaded 3 photos.

KirsiJF when I manually look at your online storage you have 10 files out of 100 in use. 2 of which are screenshots. What is giving you the message that you used all your online storage?

mskmegalodon, Dragon Age album creation is automatic, we will have to look into why it does not contain your screenshots.

I just edited my previous post: It changed from 100/100 to 10/100. Though when I was trying with uploading screenshots it said I had used all my space and it looked like the screenshots didn't upload because of that (some error message). Later on when I returned I saw it had changed.

Some screenshots I uploaded just showed up, yay!

I still get an error message when uploading that I timed out while accessing my online storage space, but at least most of the ones I've uploaded are there.

And characters updated for the first time in nearly 2 weeks! Strangely characters I deleted from in-game are uploaded (and a Human Noble level 1 version, that I deleted in-game, shows up in place of my level 23 city elf rogue with the same name).

But that's progress!

All of mine were showing up, but some of them were stalled.  I deleted all of them, hoping that they'll re-populate.

On the PS3 (or any platform for that matter), is there a way to "force-refresh" the given characters onto the site or into the queue from which the site pulls? Thanks.

I've tried deleting characters I created using the creation tool. Since I use the PS3 version these characters are useless. Anyway, I click the Delete button and I get the confirmation dialog box, and when I click that I am sure to delete, nothing happens and my character is not deleted.

I was hoping that if I clean the other characters up it would fix the problem of my PS3 character not showing up at all.

I've successfully deleted a character! Hope that means it's working for me! Many thanks!

Glad I was able to delete some of the characters I'm not playing. Sadly the ones I am playing aren't uploading and haven't for weeks.

I think it was the day before it was disabled. Does that mean I'm jammed up?

Interesting, as my profile hasn't updated in over a week neither has two of my friends.

Also today I noticed that while my pages are in English, for some reason my achievements mouse over text is Russian or something.

Ralsar: your game has not uploaded any new character data to the backend servers - the only character file present is Islabet at level 10. You need to check your game upload settings, as well as make sure you're playing with the same account that you are using on this site.

Hopefully this will answer all current questions in this thread related to the original post.

To clarify the online storage is storage that exists between Dragon Age Origins and social.bioware.com. The game does not directly upload to this website.

If you have deleted screenshots/characters previous to today there is a chance that they were only deleted from the website. The website will only get screenshots from the online storage once. So when the screenshots were only deleted from the website they will not show up anywhere that you can delete them and will take up your online storage. We are currently working on a fix for this and should have it available in the next day or two. At that point screenshots should start to reappear so you can delete them from the online storage.

Characters in your online storage take up 4 files (only 3 for the character creator). Character data, story data, portrait image and avatar image. Screenshots take 1 file. There is an issue between the game and online storage that is causing extra character data files instead of overwriting the old ones. So in some cases characters will have extra files associated with them. Deleting that character will remove all their associated files even the extra ones.

If uploading screenshots times out, that is a game issue and needs to be addressed in the games technical support forums or you should be contacting support at http://help.dragonage.com/
