I just have played ME2 way too much and deleted old characters, now getting through it all is a bit of a chore. Anyone else feel this way?
Anyone else having problems getting through their ME2 playthroughs to prep for ME3?

Why have you deleted old characters, even the ones I've messed up with will get a chance, just to see all the different paths.

I thought I was the only one. I didn't want to start a new topic because of this but ok. I deleted my characters too over time. I have one ready but it would be nice to have more. I just can't finish ME1 anymore. I play an hour or so and then I do something else. Same with ME2.

This is how ME1 is for me. I just can't get through it any more.

I've played through 4 to 5 times on both games. It has gotten a little repetitive at points, but overall I don't think it has become a 'chore'. I still love playing through it

Stick it on Casual and breeze through it, tis what i've just done now. Felt there wasn't enough ending differentiation (yes I realise it probably want make any difference at all blablabla, i'm just very picky) so restarted the Collector Mission on my Sentinel to change who died and the choices I made.

Haven't even started yet. Probably start sometime tonight on ME1 and hopefully be done that relatively shortly.

Yeah ME1 is my barrier. I can't face the MAKO, the inventory and the comnbat again as much as I'd liek to run another character through ME1&2 right before Me3 comes out.

This.
But since I already have all difficulty achivements for both and I already know what events I want, I can just set it on easy and breeze through.

Same as OP , ME 2 just does not have any more secerts to unlock so it feels like a grind,
and still got still got to grind out 8 more playthrus. before ME 3 comes out.

Playing through ME1 or ME2 hasn't ever been a chore. I love them both too much. I've even gotten over my strong dislike of the Firewalker missions.

I feel the same way about ME2; I did so many playthroughs that I couldn't think of any new ways to play the game. Luckily, I just got ME1, so after I play through the first one a couple of times, and finally import a shep to ME2, I think the experience will feel fresh again.
With that in mind, when I get ME3, I am gonna savor EVERY playthrough, and discover everything there is to know about the game on my own. You don't know how much I wish I could erase the "Suicide Mission Guide" from my head.

Abso.lutely. It's so satisfying to just convert everything to omnigel and not have to go through "incendiary rounds II convert, phasic rounds IV keep, rail extension III convert...Edge II..." I swear I must have melted down enough guns to make a factory of thrones. Get my omnigel up to ridiculous levels and never have to bother with decryption QT events.
Plus, I've found it really fun to play and not even concern myself with paragon/renegade scores (which I'm usually pretty methodical about) just eyeball it and play it "by feel" so to speak.

I'll never get bored playing through ME1 and 2 (once or twice a year mind you). They have a permanent place on my computer. Currently prepping my "ultimate" Shepard for ME3.

I've played it rather a lot, and preparing my final character is a bit of a struggle. I've done Overlord so many times but I may as well do it once more. Overlord, SM, LotSB and Arrival and I'm basically done.
Luckily I got my main character's canon run finished way back last summer.

I'm doing my first serious playthrough since the week the game was released, and I'm actually enjoying it more than last time. Partly because I'm playing it on Insanity as a vanguard, and I'm also just taking the game in smaller doses. First time I played it, I beat it in half a week and was a little disappointed.
Not sure if I'll replay ME1 some time. I'm not interested in having twelve Shepards to import, really. I have most of the relatively difficult or time-consuming achievements, so I might go back to get the rest.

Had to start again after my documents folder got lost during a transfer, just completed a male shep in, now part way through a femshep in ME1 which will be imported to ME2, at least it will give me two characters to import to ME3, depending on time I'll created another two starting at ME1.

There are parts of both games(Mako missions/Firewalker missions/mining for resources) that I find super tedious, but I still play them. Actually, I just started a new ME 1 Shep(instead of using the two ME 1 Shep imports or Genesis, which is what I usually do) character the other day. I guess I like the story so much, I'll slog through the boring stuff just to enjoy the story over and over.

I never downloaded Firewalker. Can't stand the Hammerhead personally.
Debating on pushing my other ME2 Shep's through....I've been playing Skyrim mostly
