I spent 3 hours with tech support last night, and just got of the phone for a second time. It appears that EA has run out of keys, and cannot do anything to help me access the content that I purchased new. I am angry.

i bought the game just after christmas as a gift, only to find out on my lads birthday 20/1/2012 when my lad opens the box the cerberus code expired 20 days ago, im well annoyed about that, especially because i could of paid £5 pre-owned, instead of brand new, i could of got the second hand copy and the cerberus code of the psn store cheaper than what i paid for the game new, so much for supporting the game developer, its not as if its a food item that perishes, why put an expirey date on at all

Not sure if it is the same, but I bought ME2 when it was released, but about a year later found a collectors version tucked away on a shelf somewhere cheap. Bought it and forgot about it till I preordered ME3.

Long story short, I redeemed my collector's bonus despite it being expired and it worked. Thank god, I didn't want to have to call support for a silly code.

I have the same problem.
Bought the game brand new, two days ago.
It cost something like 15 bucks more, and on the cover you can read clearly: INCLUDES 6+ HOURS OF BONUS MISSIONS - Kasumi: Stolen Memories - Overlord - Lair of the Shadow Broker.

I opened the case, and there it was, a flier with Zaeed showing that had the guide to activate the Cerberus Network.
Well, when I go to redeem my promotion code at the PlayStation Store, it turns out it's "wrong or no longer valid".
Well, I wrote it over and over... it's 12 letters, I'm not dumb. So it's not wrong.
My question is: how can it be no longer valid if the game is brand new??

I then decided to download it from PSN. I was quite annoyed at the idea of buying it twice, but I really did want to start playing, and I needed Cerberus Network.
Guess what? The downloaded and installed PSN version isn't working.

So basically I've paid TWICE for NOTHING.
What the hell, Bioware?
This is plain stealing.

I have a similar problem. I was able to get the code, but I still do not have access to the Cerberus Network. I am also angry.

Strangely I'm having trouble with registering my ps3 copy that I purchased of mass effect 2 as it does not show up for my registered games. It did take the upc when I look at it in the list of games but it does not show up in the my games tab. Also the code I had for the blood dragon armor for it to be used in that game from the  dragon age orgins ultimate edition is not working either when I registered that. It took the code but gave me something of an error that it said unknown item.

**Edit** Actually this one solved itself, seems it did take the code correctly and it is showing up in game for mass effect 2 like its supposed to.

Found a solution to expired/ invalid code... i tried this and it work... this method is from the ea support team, and i really appreciate their help...
First of all, check the region of the game by looking at the number inside the globe on the case.

1 - United States, Canada, Bermuda, U.S. territories

2 - Europe (except Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus), Middle East, Egypt, Japan, South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Greenland

3 - Southeast Asia, South Korea, Republic of China (Taiwan), Hong Kong, Macau

4 - Mexico, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania

5 - India, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Africa (except Egypt, South Africa, Swaziland, and Lesotho), Central and

South Asia, Mongolia, North Korea

6 - People's Republic of China, Hong Kong

Then, create a new PSN Account with the same region as the disc you bought.

Here is the steps to create a new PlayStation Network account.

1. Press the PS button the controller to enter the PlayStation 3 XBM (XrossMediaBar).
2. Select the Users tab.
3. Select Create a New User Account and press the X button.
4. Enter a name for the account and login to the new user account.
5. Select the Friends tab.
6. Select Sign up for PlayStation Network and press the X button.

Note: When creating the new PlayStation Network account, please use a different, valid and accessible e-mail address.

Login to the new account and redeem the access code. It will work this time and allow you to download and install the online access file from the PSN Store.

After it is installed you can now use your normal account from your region to play the game online.
Hope this will be resolved your issue.
