Yeah I left the DLC and was stuck with an unfulfilled quest. I think it could have been worth finishing, I just thought it was a quest that could be finished in the regular game. Any help?

Sorry, I didn't find anything other than one page of love poetry for her quest. Some of the quests I found glitched, perhaps hers is as well?. Fenris' pendant was untouchable (glittered from a distance, but up close I couldn't interact with it, despite it had an arrow over it). I missed Isabela's quest because I just wanted to get out of the dungeon by that point, and never found the jewels. The only ones I have completed the companion quest on are Sebastian and Bethany.  Oh and Varric.

MotA is not my favorite DLC even if it does have it's moments.

Are you talking about the Du Lac Sign quest? Or A Romantic's Gift? I finished the former but not the latter, which, according to the link, looks to be glitched.
For the Du Lac SIgn, the quest starts with finding the prison roster on the steps that go down into the vaults. You have to go back to the dungeons and you'll find one other clue, as well as a vial with swirling black liquid (hmmm....). Then you'll get some nice cryptic insight into Aveline's family.

I actually found a way to circumvent the glitch...
At least for me it worked both with Aveline, with Anders and with Fenris miniquests, and I was able to reproduce this solution multiple times (I have a 1.03 game, main DLCs MotA, Legacy and Exiled Prince)...
Basically the problem is that in the room there are two chests at the sides that can be looted and have quest specific stuff on them, however after you loot one (regardless of which you choose), the other becomes somehow unclickable as soon as you get close to it...

However, apparently, unlocking the door that allows you to continue through the DLC refreshes the lootable status of the chests provided the bug was triggered before you unlock it...

What you do is:
- complete the puzzle up to the point where you drop the stone statues;
- loot one of the two chests (it doesn't matter which one);
- do the whole operation as if you were going to loot the other (glitch will trigger making in unlootable and the stuff on it unclickable);
- unlock the door to exit the dungeon by lifting the gates surrounding it...
You'll obtain the exp for the completion of the puzzle and the second chest (and everything on it) will again be salvageable...

Do note that the pressure plates you have to stand on to open the door change if you loot the chests before completing the puzzle...
Normally you have to have both chars standing on the plates directly next to the door, if you reached the chests before completing the puzzle (as you should have), the door will unlock by using the two plates directly in front of each chest instead...

It always worked for me since I discovered it by chance on my first playthrough...
Try and see if it works for you too... :P

Yeah this one. Thank you.

Pride thank you also for the deeper insight into the quest.
