Hi there. I am experiencing what is most assuredly a bug. I've searched all of the rooms available to me but I have found nothing to indicate that I missed a key to open the door leading from the room with the pools of what appears to be blood.
I realize that this may have been posted before but to be perfectly honest with you good folk...the search that these and other bioware forums have been using is a few levels below the efficiency of gamefaqs board search which...isn't very good. But a working board is a good thing!
The door can't be picked and it won't unlock. What do I do?

The door opens once you have killed all the monsters in the room. if you have then it is bugged..

I would try to reload a save before you went into the keep and see if that fixes it. Also there is a bug where the game doesn't think you killed the main baddie in that room.... make sure you LOOT everything from the corpse.. and walk around where the corpse is.. often you have to trigger a plot advance.
There is another locked door, but you have to talk to Sophia and make a deal with her or kill her to unlock the forcefield

Okay, i've just succesfully went through there on my rogue that i previously played.
I've noticed that on my rogue the encounters were different. Instead of the archivist demon i encountered self ressurecting skeletons, the raging demon encounter before the door up the stairs had him summoning two demons during the fight while this fight was just him resummoning more skeleton healers.

Yeah sounds like a bug.. try to load a save of the same character right before you went into the keep and see if it's bugged. Like I said, I can provide you with in game scripts, but it's better to try otherways first. The scripts wont open the door for you, but can set all the plot flag needed and then warp you to the fnished version of the keep, but you would miss out on codex entires and possible a few blood abilities (although I think the script may be able to grant those.. but I haven't looked into it).
IMO always try conventional means to fix it, and if it's a bug that just can't be worked around, use the ingame script:

Most people will beat the game long before BW comes out with patches for the game and the DLC content. That's why I'm providing in game scripting solutions

Same issue. I have reloaded multiple times and tried dragging out the fight. I level during the fight as well.
