I think they are still in use actually. There simply were a bunch with poor performance issues. And instead of having to wait to vent them and tempt a malfunction, you simply eject the wasted heat sink for a new one.

I'm not sure why so many have assumed that weapons all suddenly disappear and then are completely replaced with a brand new set. Check out the Mattock and Locust  descriptions also and then the Avenger uses a familar model in ME2 too.

So, the change with heat sinks / Thermal Clips is more how they are being used, than completely changing the entire weapon.

I guess a reasonable comparison is swapping the barrel in combat is similar to using Thermal Clips, except that with the intense heat of the clips, they are better disposed after use than continually recycled.

I hope what I'm saying makes sense.

I'm suspicious. The massive number of guns in ME1 were a big bag of suck - most of them were no good and really the Spectre weapons won the day. The guns in ME2 at least were different and you could make an argument for why you'd use one over the other depdning on foes or play style.

All weapons, so including ME3 DLC will be balanced, so I'm looking forward to using them  all. And I'd need to look for the tweet? I guess called to support what I'm saying about the balance.

I've entered that code in myself and it doesn't seem to have unlocked anything on my registered game content page except for the fact that the Normandy model is a registered product.

I doubt Armax arsenal, kassa fabrication or Rosenkov materials no longer puts out exellent stuff.
I doubt people would say no to having the option of picking up a Volkov sniper rifle or baterians carrying Terminator assault rifles in battle. I would also like some spectre gear in the game.

Infiltrator:D i sniper for every different situation lol. btw for the first time i started an engineer class in an attempt to make a smart character. Does anyone know any developments of that class in mass effect 3?

It's not like most of the guns in ME2 were designed by the same companies that made some guns in ME1 or something. Oh wait.

IIRC, those manufacturers are still in ME2.

Spectre Gear was an unlockable bonus, so dunno about that one. I gotta look up the Terminators, too.
