well for casters vindicator is definitly way too good, for soldiers valkyrie seems to mesh in better

The Argus seems to be a beefed up Vindicator too.

Problem with argus is, High recoil, which is even higher when you zoom ffor some reason, low rate of fire and 3 times as long a refire time as vindicator/valkyrie coupled with a near 3 second reload.
too many cons for its High damage.

Infact if squadies still have perfect accuracy, for them argus might actually be a very good gun. It might be the incisor of me2 for squadies in me3

Nah ;), I'll be contented to just give my old bro garrus a Widow, I am a girl of simple taste :P

I saw the screeshot as well, definitly looks like the ancestor of the collector beam, it should be pretty accurate but I am more worried about the ammo reserve

well directed energy weapons have to be accurate, and have no recoil generally. But we will have to see

I'd love to play a one woman/one gun type of soldier with either a Saber or a Black widow but I have a bad feeling these two gun will be available very late in the game.

I'm curious if the concentration module stacks. Like, if I put it on a sniper rifle and uses it as an infiltrator or soldier, would it add to the natural time dilation effect of infiltrators and make it even slower, or would it just do nothing?

Also, I remember reading that all squaddies can equip all weapons now, does that still hold?

The squaddies have talents that reduce encumberance, so it's a safe bet that they have the same weight system, though it probably works somewhat different for them than with Shepard. 

Anyway, this is cool.

makes no difference, as squadmates do only 30% dmg with any weapon you give them. Except garrus if his passive is evolved properly, he will do a staggering 75% more damage with any assault rifle you give him, same with a sniper.

Actually, there is no evolutionary Rank/s in the squadmates' class passives that reducing weight of a weapon class (perhaps you're thinking the classes from MP?).

However, squadmates do have a "default" weapon loadout (Garrus/Ashley are AR and SR, Tali/Javik are Pistols and Shotty, etc), which some of us speculate that if you give them weapons that are outside of their default loadout then their powers cooldown will take a big hit.


EDIT: Also, just out of curiousity, how does the Revanant handle with the stability mods attached to it? Do they improve the gun's accuracy at all? (really don't wanna have to add a zoom scope to to the Revanant to improve its accuracy)

So I shouldn't have said "never". But it still wasn't released to Xbox or PC players. And since the PS3 people can get the CE it is safe to say that it won't be released.

You can improve squadmates weapon damage with the 5th Rank evolutions of the Soldier's, Infiltrator's, Vanguard's, and Sentinel's class passives. (as well as one of the 6th Ranks of Ashley's class passive)

affects all weapons in game.

Also

"maxlevel" : [ "10" ],
"maxweaponmods" : [ "2" ],


as seen by this post from PDesign, squadies only do 30% damage with any weapon you give them. This is before their modifiers kick in.

Good to know. Looks like I'll also be packing damage mods on their guns to get them close to 100%, not a fan of arbitrary damage handicaps.

I suspect its the fact your squad never runs out of ammo and never misses shots

That would be even less then in Mass Effect 2 and would be completly retarded...
It would make pure soldier squadmates completly useless.
