I will admit they're kind of funny, but that's the long and short of it as far as I'm concerned.

I can't say whether he'll be more interesting than Kaiden, but he already looks a hell of a lot more interesting than Jacob.

Holy balls. That was glorious. I loved every minute of it. I was a touch skeptical about this FPJ guy but wow, you can hear the passion in his voice. He definitely seems to be more of a fan than many self-proclaimed "true fans" on this board. Vega's character is shaping up to be a rather fun addition to the team, but regardless of how interesting he turns out to be I have no doubt his acting is going to be exceptional.

This video is my new fave thing about the ME3 marketing campaign. A fan, talking to fans. What say we create a petition for Mr. Prinze to replace David Silverman?

Double standard ? What does that mean ? Some simply jumped to the conclusion they wouldn't like him, without knowing anything, now a few months after, with trailers, etc, they can like him. That's human, in real life, that's the same, you think you won't like someone and actually, he becomes one of your best friends.

Why couldn't they change their mind ?

I find that strange.  " hey remember bro', you hated him before, you must hate him now, otherwise you are dumb or hypocrite or whatever. " That sounds childish at best.

That era games didn't have enough detail for the animations to be bad.

It's KotOR which can really make you wince with the terrible facial animations.  I wonder if ME will look that bad to us in 10 years.

As much as some of you are cynical as hell, I have to say Bioware got the right person to voice him. It was nice hearing Freddie talk about the game and the characters as a whole.

I highly envy him right now, he's getting to voice a character in a game franchise he enjoys. That's pretty damn cool.

They "love" the hype that Freddy generated, and this somehow transferred over to their opinion about a bland character that he's voice acting.  Even if he does some super fantastic job with what he is given, that doesn't really reduce the fact that Vega is one of the most boring, mundane and as stereotypical a character as you could get.  Or at least he will be until he tells you about his closet collection...

I started giving him a chance about when the leaked script came out. I guess the fact that people are only starting to like him now means less people read it than I thought.

I just had nothing to go on besides his picture, and his squadmate status. Which made be feel bad for any ME2 squadmate he's replacing.
