I like Vega already. Sure, he's maybe not the brightest bulb in the box, but he can do his job. I won't only give him a chance, he might be one of the most-used squaddies in ME3, next to my fave character.

Uncharted's animations are preset, while the ME games use a real-time algorithm. It's not a perfect system, but it's the best Bioware can do with SO much dialogue and characters. And compared to other large-scale RPG games, they have it nailed better than anyone.

I still don't like him. That could change when I'm actually playing the game, though. It's actually kind of silly that his design is such a turn off for me. I just find him looking like the generic soldier tough guy I see in thousands of other games.

When the weapon has overheated, it will produce those sounds and fire nothing but steam until you replace the heatsink with a new one.  This works the same way as it did in ME2, just with better feedback as to what's happening.  It occured to me one night in a dream (not even joking) that the ME1 beeps should be there.  When I put them in, it just felt... right...

He really understands what stands out about the series and about the characters. He gets the heart and soul of Mass Effect and the idea of living out an epic sci-fi novel in real time and how at the basest level, Mass Effect is about the characters and their feelings and perspectives.

BioWare should put Freddie out as the PR voice for this game. Less Mac and Casey, more Freddie (and some Seth Green would be nice, he seemed to get the series pretty well from his ME2 interview).

EDIT: Just checked out the Rachni Queen in the ME Wiki to refresh my memory, it's def the Queen juding by those pincer esque thingys.

I find it hilarious that Bioware is trying to push him as a tough, no-nonsense badass, and yet if you visit his character thread on these forums you'll find that 90% of the posts there are people who just want to get into his pants and post laughably bad fanart. An outsider might think he's some anime prettyboy or something.

Then again, I find it even more hilarious that BSN is suddenly falling over themselves to welcome Vega after an extremely hostile first impression. Never change, BSN, never change...

Hell, I wanted to take Garrus for M3, but I think I will choose him in my second playthrought, need to know Vega

 Have to say, though I am still neutral in response to Vega, that video did bump up my respect for Freddie up, he sounds like a cool enough person

 It at least means that now when I talk to Vega I'll have the image in my mind of someone who likes ME for the same reasons I do, rather than Fred from Scooby Doo

Don't quote me on this but it might be 26. Can't remember if the devs/writers actually tweeted that, though. I might just be imagining it.
