Safe bet on 'yes you can'

Don't remember if there ever was an official confirmation but if you look at the transition from ME1 - ME2 (romance wise) then you can probably romance any living being in the entire universe in ME3...

You see, that's why I put 'living being' in my earlier post. Unless... his chair is... No...=]

No, the ME development team decided to add this character for the sole purpose of exciting, meaningful platonic conversation.

Yes, you'll probably get some vega lovin' in there somewhere.

No, it's "no new romances for old LIs", meaning you cannot start a romance with Garrus / Tali / Liara , you can only continue one if you've started it in the previous games. The only "old" squad mates to get a new romance arc are Kaidan and Ashley.

Put it this way, the way Vega is being written, Shepard can never safely drop the soap in the shower ever again.

Doesn't matter which gender your Shepard is, or which shower room he/she's using. Vega will hunt you down and show you just how much he 'looks up' to you. Even your collector's edition pet MECHANICAL dog isn't safe.

ME3 will be epic. BW is really listening to the fans. The S/S lobbying will finally pay off.

Yeah, you can. You can't have new romances with the old ME2 romances, though.

I assumed Liara was with the "old LI" group, since I've read you can romance her in LOTSB. That said, I never did, so it's possible I'm wrong and one can start a new romance with her in ME3.

"Can you romance James Vega?"

I certainly f***in' hope so!

As for Liara: of course she's romanceable! I <3 Liara, but let's not mince words here: she always gets special treatment.

I can't really see them going to all that effort with James's character, not only making him very attractive (in my opinion, anyway) but also giving him a lot of 'bonding' dialogue with Shepard only for Bioware to go "LOL no you can't get in his pants, sorry."
Because that would be... just evil. :crying:
